Two of us did Escape the Seven Seas and it was fantastic. The decor grabs you immediately, there are multiple threads to tackle at once, and the difficulty ranges from gentle to satisfyingly tricky. I’d seen some of the mechanics before, the hint screen worked well, and the initial split was a fun touch. Staff were lovely—special thanks to Jia—and I wouldn’t bring more than four; finding the place

We played the pirate room in Shadwell as a duo and really enjoyed it. The theming and props were excellent, the opening was great, and the puzzles kept us busy. We raised a small concern by email and the manager’s thoughtful reply impressed us—customer service was stellar.

Easily one of the best games we’ve played here. Clever puzzles with slick tech, and A.L.I.C.E. gave us sass right up until we slipped out at about 58 minutes. Garry ran the show brilliantly and even sent us away with great local tips.

You can feel the craft in every interaction. The descent sets the tone, there are goofy little Easter eggs, and moments where you get to lean into some light roleplay. A few puzzles needed a teammate’s fresh angle, but nothing ever felt guessy. Start to finish, superb.

Came back to Escape Stirling expecting fun and got something even better. Garry’s humour is woven through the experience, the room is tough but fair, and teamwork really matters. We took extra time to finish because we kept missing obvious bits, yet we laughed all the way. Can’t wait for whatever Garry builds next.

Loved the layout—so many strands open at once that our team naturally split up, then regrouped to connect the dots. It’s delightfully non‑linear, and we all found something to own. A.L.I.C.E. steals the show with perfectly snarky timing, turning the immersion up several notches. We’ll be back for the other rooms.

Second visit with six of us and we chose Witchcraft & Wizardry for more challenge after Area 51. Tricky but fair puzzles, super helpful hosts, and they kindly pushed our time when traffic made us late. We’ll be back again.

Cracking little game that finally pushed us. We usually finish in 30–40 minutes, so it was great to be busy almost the whole hour, and the puzzles were fun and made sense. You can’t really lose because the goal is to grab as much cash as you can.

Both hosts were genuinely kind and got us briefed quickly and clearly. Hints came only when we needed a nudge, never the answer, which kept it fun. 221B isn’t heavy on props, but the puzzles are varied and interesting, and the hour flew. We’ll be back for the other rooms—easy 10/10.

There’s a lot for two people, but the authentic old police cell block is fantastic. You start by working together to free those locked in a cell, yet there are solo tasks that can leave folks in the corridor stuck and a bit frustrated. Prison rooms are everywhere now, but this venue’s real setting makes it stand out—top marks for using the space so well.
