Overview of artificial intelligence

AIReviews rave about the enthusiastic game masters and the polished pirate set that sells the story from the first moment. Puzzles are plentiful, logical, and flow well, though the room leans tough and some teams don’t make it out on the first try. Families, friend groups, and corporate teams all had a blast, with staff praised for care and flexibility. One recurring tip: finding the treasure isn’t the finish line—you still have to escape.
WeaknessesDifficulty can be steep, and a few groups needed more hints or ran out of time. The ending goal can surprise newcomers since escape requires more than just grabbing the treasure.
StrengthsImmersive pirate theme with quality props, strong story beats, and clever puzzle design. Hosts are engaged and theatrical, which lifts the whole experience.
SecurityBriefings are clear, and staff check your experience level, even offering easier options if needed. They handle comfort concerns thoughtfully and keep communication open throughout.
Level of fearNot a horror room; it’s adventurous rather than scary and suits kids and mixed groups. Staff are considerate with sensitivities like claustrophobia.
Actors' gameGame masters get shout-outs for warmth, clear briefings, and playful in-character touches—Ben’s pirate voice is a fan favorite. They read the room well, offer timely nudges, and keep things fun without breaking immersion.
Quality of riddlesThere are lots of puzzles, varied and fair, with a logical sequence that veteran players appreciate. The design avoids cheap ambiguity and rewards teamwork. Expect a steady climb in challenge rather than random roadblocks.
PlotYou start locked in the brig, work your way toward the Captain’s quarters, and aim to nab the treasure before making your escape. It’s a classic pirate caper with a clean throughline and a satisfying finish.
Difficulty levelMedium-to-hard, with even seasoned teams taking a good chunk of the hour. Newer players will be fine with hints, while enthusiasts get plenty to chew on.

Loved the set detail and the way the puzzles linked together. Two of us got out with a couple of nudges and felt like heroes at the end. Heads-up: you still need to actually escape after the treasure—great final dash.

We had a cracking time in Seven Seas. Ben welcomed us, set the scene perfectly, and kept the energy high. We’ve done plenty of rooms, and this still took us over 45 minutes—just the right kind of challenge with a solid story.

Properly challenging with a brilliant opening sequence and slick setup. We missed escape by a whisker on the last clue, but the staff’s enthusiasm and the quality of the story, puzzles, and props outclass other locals. We’ll be back for Casino.

Super fun and properly tricky. We almost stopped at the treasure and had to remember to make a break for it, which was cheeky and cool. A tiny bit more signposting on the endgame and it’d be flawless.

Escaping the Seven Seas was a blast. The atmosphere matched the tale, and our GM Ben was top-notch—full of enthusiasm and that spot-on pirate accent. Would happily try more rooms here. Today was the day he almost caught Captain Porg.

Booked Taken, but the team asked about our experience and suggested an easier option since we were new. We switched and had a brilliant time with Seven Seas instead. Really appreciated the guidance.
