The tech looked impressive when it behaved, and casting spells with instant feedback was fun, but plenty of moments felt GM‑triggered—I pointed a finger and it still went off. Could be fine for kids, except we were told they couldn’t use the wand

Great room and a brilliant host, with decent theming and engaging puzzles. The astrology thread halfway through clashed with the murder angle for me, and a couple of tech bits misbehaved, including a latch that needed a thump and a laser that didn’t fire at first.

First-ever escape room and it was a blast. Looks great, the flow mostly sings, and the big central puzzle was super satisfying. We missed one thing because it looked way too pristine to be part of the game, hit a section that broke an early rule, and the use of the word altar misled us. Staff were excellent and we got out as a duo in 45 minutes.

Loved the vibe from the first minute. Ajay kept the hints light and perfectly timed, and once we cracked the opener the whole run clicked. Immersive, clever, and just the right kind of eerie.

Did Taken tonight and had a blast even though the room beat us. Ben kept us laughing and nudged us at the right moments. Creepy in a fun way—coming back for round two.

Amazing room but definitely on the hard side. We got pretty far, opened a bunch of locks, though one key behaved oddly. We skipped asking for help, but the TV hints were still super useful. I’d suggest more than two players. We’ll return—maybe for an easier room first, then tackle Taken again.

Leaning into the wizard school vibe was a blast, and when the wand tracked well the spell hits felt great. Staff recalibrated once and it helped. It does run long and sags in the middle, but the last scene landed for us.
