AI Overview

AIPlayers consistently praise the immersive set and strong atmosphere. Difficulty feels uneven for some, with a tough opener followed by easier progress. Hosts get high marks for timing and support, with Ajay called out by name. A few mention waiting outside the Sheffield branch before games start, though it didn’t spoil the fun.
WeaknessesIt’s pretty dark, which can make some tasks fiddly. The first puzzle can be a spike in difficulty compared to the rest. At the Sheffield location, occasional waiting outside before entry was noted.
StrengthsStandout theming and staging make the setting feel alive. Hosts are watchful and helpful, giving nudges right when they’re needed. The experience flows smoothly once you’re past the first hurdle.
SecurityNo specific safety issues reported, and hosting is attentive with clear briefings. The space is dark, so take care moving around and follow staff guidance.
Level of fearCreepy and atmospheric rather than terrifying, with more eerie moments than jump scares. Suitable for teens and nervous players who want spooky without nightmares.
Actors' gameNo live actors are mentioned; interaction is mainly through the game master. Hosts are engaged and responsive, with Ajay singled out for great humor and well-timed hints.
Quality of riddlesLogical and fair with clear solutions, mostly on the lighter side once you crack the opener. The first challenge can be tough, but the rest often feels accessible and satisfying. Teamwork and observation matter more than convoluted logic.
PlotYou cross the void, claw your way from the grave, and fight to reclaim your life, essentially going to hell and back. Story beats support the journey without getting in the way of solving.
Difficulty levelOverall easy-to-medium, with an early puzzle that may stall some teams. Great for beginners and mixed groups; enthusiasts may find it breezy after the start.

Gorgeous set and a tight story that actually comes through while you play. Our GM kept an eye on us and dropped a nudge at just the right time, and once we cracked the first gate it flowed nicely. Left feeling thrilled, not frazzled.

Excellent theming throughout. We struggled with the first few puzzles but then sailed through the rest. Ajay was brilliant—watching closely and giving timely, funny hints. Only downside: at the Sheffield branch we’ve ended up waiting outside before, though it didn’t ruin the fun.

Shoutout to Ajay—funny, attentive, and great at pacing hints. We cruised once the first puzzle clicked, and the atmosphere is ace: spooky without being too much. Perfect intro-to-spooky pick.

Strong theming and a smooth build from scene to scene. Minor gripe: at the Sheffield branch we waited outside before start time, but the game itself was great once we got in.

Good room, just a bit easy for our group after the beginning. Loved the vibe though, and the hosting was solid. Ideal for friends trying their first darker theme.

Beautifully themed room with a great atmosphere and solid, sensible puzzles. It’s pretty dark, which made parts trickier, but everything felt fair and the hosting was on point.

The room looks fantastic, but it’s quite dark, which made a couple of steps a bit fiddly. Puzzles were on the easier side after a tricky opener, still satisfying overall. Would recommend to newer teams.

Well presented with nice staging. Most puzzles weren’t too hard, apart from the first one, and overall it was a neat experience.
