AI Overview

AIPlayers consistently highlight a standout opening that uses restraints and forces strong communication from the jump. The room is compact, lock-heavy, and puzzle-forward, with difficulty that skews mid-to-hard, especially for duos and first-timers. Theme and decor get praise for immersion, though some note limited exploration. A few mention occasional prop/material quirks that can make certain steps fiddlier than intended.
WeaknessesHeavy reliance on padlocks and a small footprint means less roaming and discovery. Some props can be temperamental, briefly spiking difficulty. Running it as a pair can feel tough.
StrengthsImmersive pirate set and a memorable start that smartly uses handcuffs. Puzzles feel clever and reward teamwork and clear communication. The story flows and keeps you engaged.
SecurityHandcuffs are part of the experience and staff keep an eye on things. Reviews don’t raise safety concerns.
Level of fearNot a horror room; it plays like an adventurous jailbreak. The initial restraints might unsettle some, but there’s no scare factor mentioned.
Actors' gameNo live actors are mentioned; interaction is mainly with your team. The host is present and supportive in the background.
Quality of riddlesGenerally tough but fair, leaning on logic, coordination, and verbal communication over pure searching. The design makes smart use of being restrained at the start. Expect plenty of locks alongside some inventive moments.
PlotYou’ve mutinied, landed in the brig, and need to escape with the treasure before the captain catches up. The narrative is clear and the opening sequence stands out without giving away solutions.
Difficulty levelMid-to-hard overall. Best for groups of three to five; beginners and pairs may need more hints.

Went as a duo and it was a workout. Not scary, just pressure and puzzles, with a strong pirate feel and plenty to unlock. I’d recommend a team of four for a smoother ride.

Gorgeous set and clever use of restraints made the teamwork feel real. One prop was a little finicky, but it didn’t spoil the run—great finale too.

That opening in cuffs set the tone perfectly, and from there it was all about talking clearly and staying coordinated. Set design sells the pirate vibe, and the puzzles felt tough but fair. We left buzzing.

Small room, big challenge. Loads of padlocks, yes, but the flow was solid and we had to communicate non-stop. Did it with three and would happily come back for another theme.

Loved the concept and the intro, but the space felt cramped and the lock count got a bit samey for me. Hints were timely and we still had fun.

As a newcomer I found it challenging but doable. Loved the opener, there are loads of locks, and doing it as a pair felt harder than going with a bigger group.

Solid pirate escape that really lives or dies on how well you communicate with your crew. We had a great time keeping each other in sync.

First time starting in handcuffs and the game makes full use of it. Totally immersive, big on communication, and still one of our favorites.

Good overall with a cracking start and a story that moves, but it’s a tight room with lots of padlocks and not much to wander through.

Loved the theme and the look. A couple of bits seem a little temperamental right now, which can bump up the difficulty, but minor tweaks would sort it.
