Meltdown!

Great opening with a team split that really makes you coordinate. Later on you get into real chemistry, which was new to me and super fun. Only downside: one area repeats the same action a few times. The bonus objective was smartly done—we needed a little nudge—and Hovis the corgi completely won us over.

Loved the fresh twists and the real-science moments—nothing gimmicky, just clever. The split start forced us to communicate from second one, and when it clicked it felt great. We even nailed the bonus task at the end and left buzzing.

Our host was the owner—very friendly and chatty, clearly passionate about escape rooms. Visually the room looked great and fit the theme. Without spoilers, the main puzzle was a standout and properly challenging; we all had a go and loved it.

Co-op opener was neat and there’s legit chemistry later on, which I’ve not seen before. One middle section repeats a bit, but the finale hits nicely. Staff were kind and hints landed right when needed.

Lots of ideas I hadn’t seen before, plus you actually do some real science to crack puzzles—the owner’s teaching background really shows. There are some great concepts here; it feels like a hidden gem.

Owner-host was warm and clearly passionate. The main hands-on puzzle had our whole group engaged and grinning. Not a blockbuster set, but the theme carries it well.

Set and puzzle flow felt tight and on-theme, not flashy but it works. Parking nearby was rough, so go early. Once inside, it’s all teamwork and clean logic.

A really fun game overall. We enjoyed the set and the puzzle mix. Parking was a bit of a nightmare, not the company’s fault, so it’s worth planning to park a little farther away.

Low-fi build and it felt relatively easy on the standard setting. You can choose a hard mode that adds roughly twenty minutes if you want more challenge.

Pretty low-fi look and the standard path was on the easy side for us. There’s a harder mode that adds time; we skipped it and probably should’ve taken it. Still a decent hour out.
