Company Locked In A Room

One of my new favorites. You’re immersed from the moment you arrive with a themed briefing, and the GM sets a lovely tone. The puzzles flow beautifully, include a few I’ve never seen, and tie into the story in clever ways. Such a joyful experience—highly recommend.

Great energy in the intro and the kids loved the silliness, but the room itself was lots of padlocked plywood boxes. Several codes felt under-clued so we tried combinations until something worked, and it seemed like one GM was covering multiple rooms. Left disappointed.

Standard style but well run. Riddle-heavy with clean signposting and minimal red herrings. Nothing wildly new, yet it all clicks.

Good story and a decent mix of puzzles, if a bit lock-heavy. A couple of clues needed cleaner nudges, but we still felt smart by the end.

Strong sci‑fi story, smooth flow, and a GM who actually pays attention. We liked the final sprint and felt the hints were fair. Lots of locks, but it didn’t bother our group.

Theming is a big step up with some neat tech sprinkled in, but it still leans heavily on hunting for codes and opening padlocks, which feels dated for a 2023 build. Our run felt a touch short and the conclusion didn’t quite land for me.

Really liked the storyline, and several puzzles felt fresh and fun. We went as a duo; one task was tough with just two, but still doable. The GM was super friendly and supportive.

Super linear and beginner-friendly, which meant our experienced duo burned through it. I’d bring three or four for the sweet spot. Great theming though.

Big Aardman fan here and this hit the spot. The sets are joyful, the flow is smooth, and our GM was a gem. Not scary, just pure fun. We left grinning.

Did it as two and hit a wall on one puzzle that clearly wants more hands. Aside from that, clues were logical and the GM was great. Solid if you’re experienced, tougher if you’re not.
