About the escape room
The machinery breathes in the stillness of the laboratory. Bubbles rise in a mysterious green liquid. Cogs tick and gears clank, feasting on the frightened air... What happened here? Why has the previous occupant of the room left in such a hurry? As your eyes grow used to the dusty light, you make out discarded pieces of arcane mechanisms. There has to be a pattern, a code, something to show you the way...

AI Overview

AIPlayers consistently praise the moody set, detailed props, and old‑world soundtrack that pull you into the lab. Difficulty skews easier with a mostly linear flow, which works well for pairs but can leave bigger teams waiting. Puzzles mix logic with light physical interactions and some neat surprises; the finale lands for some and feels a bit flat for others.
WeaknessesLargely linear and on the easier side, so seasoned groups may find less to chew on and some teammates idle. The ending divides opinion, from a quick jolt to a softer landing.
StrengthsImmersive design with a memorable contraption at center stage, backed by thoughtful audio and detail. Fair, tidy puzzle logic with smooth flow, plus friendly, supportive hosting.
SecurityStaff give a clear briefing and keep an eye on the run, and the physical bits are manageable with basic care. If anything’s unclear, the team steps in fast.
Level of fearMore eerie than scary, with one brief jump reported. Fine for teens and cautious adults; it’s not a horror room.
Actors' gameNo in‑room actors, but hosts get credit for being attentive and upbeat. GM support is available when needed without heavy‑handed nudging.
Quality of riddlesClever yet accessible puzzles lean logical, with satisfying physical interactions tied to the main machine. The clue system feels a little different in a good way and stays fair. Veterans may breeze through, but newcomers will find plenty of aha moments.
PlotYou pick through an abandoned laboratory and its hungry contraption, teasing out patterns to learn why the last occupant fled. The story unfolds through the space and mechanisms without heavy exposition.
Difficulty levelBest for beginners to intermediate players or pairs who enjoy a linear flow. Experienced teams will likely finish briskly and may prefer a smaller group.

Beautifully dressed and wonderfully scored, this room oozes old‑world charm and immersion. The gameplay is very linear, which suited us as a duo but could leave bigger groups idle at times. Even so, it flowed cleanly with some smart puzzles we hadn’t seen before, and our GM Dan was excellent.

Loved the atmosphere here. The soundtrack and that big central machine make everything feel alive, and the puzzles click together in a really pleasing way. As a duo we cruised without getting stuck, and our GM kept hints light but timely. Five stars from me.

The clueing method felt refreshingly different and fair, and there are a couple of cheeky surprises tucked in. Ending was a touch abrupt for my taste, but the journey there was great. Would recommend for newer players especially.

Our first time playing as a pair and we didn’t know what to expect, but that ending made us jump. The experience revolves around the contraption we both loved and cursed in equal measure. It’s simpler than some of Escapologic’s other rooms, yet a great intro with lovely staff and well worth a visit.

Our first escape as a pair and it was spot on. Not too hard, nicely paced, and a little jump at the end that got us both laughing. Staff were lovely and kept the vibe friendly.

Gorgeous lab vibes and tidy logic, but overall it ran easy and the finale didn’t quite bang for me. I wanted one more big moment. Still solid if you like atmospheric, linear rooms.

Strong set design and logical puzzles, but it’s pretty linear. With four of us, two people occasionally stood around. Still had a good time and the physical bits were fun.

Classic Escapologic craftsmanship: dense detail, immersive atmosphere, and the contraption taking center stage. Clever puzzles throughout, though the climax felt a touch underwhelming. Still very much worth doing.

Great concept that leans into a hands‑on element, and I really liked the unconventional clue delivery. It added character without feeling unfair.

Fun room with engaging puzzles that felt fair throughout. It leaned easy for us, but we still had a blast and I’d happily recommend it.

Definitely one of Escapologic’s lighter challenges, but we loved the more physical moments. There were a few fun surprises along the way too, which kept us smiling.
