Charlotte slipped into character and, with moody lighting and that old-workshop scent, whisked us back in time. The cabinet acts like a giant puzzle box and the gameplay is largely linear, with some quick wins and some real stumpers. We came for The Anatomist and stayed for this, which we liked even more. The cabinet is a star turn and the opening lands with proper drama. It’s puzzle-heavy and trickier, but our GM guided just enough to keep us moving, and we squeaked out a finish under an hour. Smart use of a small space and puzzles that feel rooted in the history. Massive thanks to Beth, who elevated an already great game.

I’d wanted to play this for ages and it absolutely delivered. Beautiful rooms, puzzles that fit the theme, and loads of secrets that pop at just the right time. It feels like a classic that’s aged brilliantly. We escaped in 34 minutes and honestly wished we’d had more time to soak up the set.

Took the family of five, three teens, and everyone had something to do thanks to the mostly non‑linear flow. The décor nails the story, our host stayed in character and was lovely, and the puzzle mix kept us moving. We did get more hints than I’d usually ask for, but, truthfully, they probably saved our time. Bonus: handy parking right next door.

Brilliant experience. The set feels authentic, the puzzles use the space in smart, quirky ways, and there are satisfying reveals as you go. Hosting by Oliver was excellent, and we’d happily return for whatever they build next.

Julia set the tone beautifully with light, sound, and a strong sense of place. For puzzle lovers, this is candy: varied, mostly linear challenges that kept the two of us engaged throughout. Everything begs to be handled and explored. We’d happily step back in and do it again, and we’re eyeing their other room next.

Looks fantastic and the immersion is strong. Puzzles aren’t super hard but do ask for teamwork and some lateral thinking. Minimal tech fits the historical setting, and the in‑character briefing from a very friendly GM set the tone perfectly.

Loved the in-character intro, the smell of sawdust, and that glorious cabinet—hands-down the star. Dense, fair puzzles with a couple of mic-drop reveals. Single room but never felt small.
