AI Overview

AIPlayers consistently praise the huge, high-tech build and cinematic wow moments that keep changing up the space. The puzzle count is enormous, so 60 minutes feels tight and GMs nudge to keep teams moving. Most recommend 4+ players or an experienced crew; small teams often finish in the last seconds or miss the end. A few note some linearity or slightly dated bits, but the uniqueness and flow win out.
WeaknessesThe 60-minute runtime can feel rushed and hints may come frequently to maintain pace. Some spaces are snug and a minority found parts a bit linear or old-school compared to the rest.
StrengthsTop-tier immersion with beautiful theming, responsive tech, and standout mechanics you won’t see elsewhere. The journey moves through many areas with slick transitions and a satisfying sense of adventure.
SecurityClear briefings and attentive GMs keep the experience controlled, and the tech generally runs smoothly. Despite the scale, it feels well managed.
Level of fearNot scary—more whimsical wizarding than horror, and several families said it’s kid-friendly. Expect excitement and spectacle over frights.
Actors' gameStaff get kudos for being sweet, witty, and proactive with well-timed nudges; one host even opened with rhymes. Interaction is supportive throughout, though a few players wished for more time to self-solve before hints.
Quality of riddlesVaried, fair, and often collaborative, with logic, light searching, and sensory moments—including taste. Individual tasks aren’t brutal, but the sheer volume is the challenge, and there are occasional linear or classic-feeling steps.
PlotTwo rival witches’ worlds collide as you navigate parallel paths that weave into a surprise-filled showdown. The story escalates through clever transitions and playful magical beats without taking itself too seriously.
Difficulty levelMedium-hard on volume and pace; ideal for experienced groups or 4+. Duos and trios can manage but should expect pressure and likely lean on hints.

We cleared about 70% with four adults and two kids on our first go, then escaped in 45 minutes on the second. Theming is great with many rooms and puzzle styles; the set is huge, rooms can feel tight, and more than four adults is a squeeze at times.

Now I see why Tulleys gets called the UK’s best. Wildly unique tech that actually works, puzzles that make sense yet challenge, sensory moments including taste, and consistent, beautiful theming—worth the higher price.

Loved the set and the sheer creativity, but 60 minutes is brutal with this many puzzles. Our GM’s nudges were helpful, just wished we had the former 90-minute window. Still a great time.

Phenomenal worldbuilding with reveals that kept blindsiding us—in a good way. Everything felt alive and responsive, and our GM kept the energy just right. We left buzzing.

Took our tween and it was perfect: magical, not scary, and absolutely gorgeous. It does get crowded in smaller rooms, but staff were lovely and we all contributed. Memorable family night.

Impressive scale but more linear than I prefer, and a couple of puzzles felt a bit old-school. That said, the transitions are awesome and the theme is spot on.

Stunning set work with loads of tough puzzles, but it’s a shame it shifted from 90 to 60 minutes for replay reasons. With more time, this would’ve been an easy five for me.

Really solid room that I’d love even more with a longer-than-60-minute timer. The puzzles aren’t impossible, there’s just a lot of them, so the GM’s nudges come in fast to keep you moving.

I thought it would be too easy based on reviews, but we booked it by mistake and I was totally wrong. There’s so much here, the scenery is lovely, and we almost didn’t make it out.

As an enthusiast, I was grinning at the unique mechanics and a cheeky sensory puzzle I’ve never seen elsewhere. Pricey, sure, but the value is all over the walls. Five stars.

Another sprawling Tulleys game made better by an engaged GM. A few puzzles felt dated for a new room, but the 60 minutes were packed with action and some truly unique ideas.

Out of nearly 150 rooms, this might be my favorite. The twists reignited that first-game excitement, and I’m not even big on wizard themes—yet I adored every minute.

Big-budget wow factor throughout, super immersive, and surprises around every corner. Best with a larger or more seasoned team, and there’s a standout feature I’ve not seen anywhere else.

Clever elements and jaw-dropping decor. As a team of three we escaped with less than a minute left—there’s a lot to do but it’s a blast.
