Our family of five, including one under-18, had a fab time in Blackbeard’s cabin. The props feel quality, the puzzles make you think without being punishing, and we got out with six minutes to spare. Staff were lovely and Molly, our guide, made it genuinely special with piratey hints.

Compared with smaller companies, the vibe is more polished and a touch less quirky, but it avoids feeling too corporate. In the end, it delivered a challenging and very enjoyable run.

We enjoyed the room overall, though a few pieces felt a bit worn and a decorated ceiling would have boosted immersion. Some basic props made the intent hard to read at times, but the second area flowed better for us even though it was trickier. Should’ve searched more, lesson learned.

Great room with solid flow, but a couple of props looked a bit tired and the ceiling felt bare. Once we hit the second section it clicked and the momentum picked up. Still very much worth doing.
