About the escape room
PLAN52 is one of our top secret locations and a fortress for highly classified archives and data. However, something terrible has happened: four of our agents who were stationed there have vanished without a trace. We now have proof that this was the work of Professor BlackSheep who had help from a clueQuest insider. It is up to you and your team to investigate this risky matter and learn the identity of the double agent. But be careful, Mr Q has confirmed that the traitor has managed to reset the security device of the facility! From the moment you set foot inside PLAN52 you will have just 60 Minutes to learn who the double agent was and deactivate the device before the entire facility detonates.

AI Overview

AIPlayers consistently praise the sheer number and variety of puzzles and the modern, lock-light feel with keypads and neat mechanisms. Game masters get shout-outs for timely, minimal hints. Difficulty skews moderate-to-hard and keeps even veterans busy. A few note the price and that the room, while updated, shows its age or hides things a bit too sneakily.
WeaknessesSome elements are hidden a touch too cleverly, which can feel searchy. A couple of players felt the price was high and the room, being the oldest, could use more refresh in spots.
StrengthsInventive, well-signposted puzzles with strong continuity and some fresh mechanics. Modernized interactions replace old-school padlocks, and the spy theme ties it all together. Staff support is warm, attentive, and well-timed.
SecurityThe experience feels well-run and closely monitored, with clear briefings and a controlled environment. Stakes are narrative, not physical, so it’s intense without feeling unsafe.
Level of fearNot a scare room at all—more mission thriller than horror. Suitable for families and kids who enjoy problem-solving under time pressure.
Actors' gameGame masters like Rowen, Yasmin, and Kirstyn get high marks for being enthusiastic, observant, and stepping in with light-touch hints. Interaction is supportive without hand-holding.
Quality of riddlesPlenty to chew on, mostly logical with clean a-ha moments and a few novel mechanical twists. It’s lock-heavy in spirit but modernized with keypads and tech, and everything connects well. A minority found some clues hidden a bit too well.
PlotYou infiltrate PLAN52 to unmask a double agent and shut down a reset security device before it blows. It sits neatly in the Professor BlackSheep universe, giving the mission a playful spy flair.
Difficulty levelPuzzle-dense and moderately hard, ideal for teams with some experience; newcomers can still succeed with a hint or two. Expect to stay busy the whole hour.

Our 38th room and maybe our favorite yet. So many puzzles that we earned an extra five minutes, and Yasmin nailed the hint balance. Lots of ideas we hadn’t seen before—can’t wait to try the rest.

We’ve done a lot of rooms, and this one still surprised us with fresh mechanisms. GM timing was spot on, and the puzzle count is no joke. Great challenge without ever feeling unfair.

Did this for Mother’s Day and it absolutely delivered. Tons of smart touches, slick tech, and we only needed one hint. Rowen was fantastic throughout and we’re eyeing their other games next.

clueQuest runs a tight ship, from the welcome to the post-game photo. The room is challenging but fair, and while our group preferred ORIGENES, this was still a blast. Kirstyn’s passion for the place really shone through.

Some hides felt a bit too devious, but the room itself was a delight with festive updates and smooth tech. We enjoyed the recurring characters and the wider universe they’ve built.

Slightly tougher than Operation Blacksheep for our trio, with some neat mechanical bits. We needed a couple of nudges, then the endgame clicked beautifully. Would recommend to teams with a bit of experience.

Beautifully built and bursting with puzzles. Yes, it leans on locks, but the formats feel fresh and the chunky keypads are oddly satisfying. Pure joy to play.

Buzzy, gadgety, and packed with logic hits. Our GM kept hints feather-light, and those keypad moments were super satisfying. We escaped with a grin and would happily come back for another mission.

A touch tougher than Operation Blacksheep and great for players with some mileage. Theming is cohesive, mechanisms are neat, and a few bits are hidden well enough to make you work for them.

Loved the variety and pace, though a couple of items were hidden a tad too cheekily for my taste. Still, the flow was fair and the spy vibe landed nicely. Solid afternoon out.

Classic escape fun that’s been smartly modernized. Even as their oldest room it still hits hard on enjoyment, and I’d happily recommend the whole venue.

A pleasant run overall, just not a standout in design for me. I’d heard the hype and expected more, and while it was probably cutting-edge years ago, it now feels due for a refresh.

Fun room with cool tech and a strong theme, but the ticket price stings a bit. Glad we played, just not sure it’s top value for money.

Solid spy theme and plenty to do, but the price didn’t quite match the experience for me. Still a good time with friends.

Clever solves with a nice through-line across the spaces. The flow held together well from start to finish.
