AI Overview

AIPlayers consistently say there’s a lot to do and the game runs long, with an early bottleneck that can chew up time. Hosting is a highlight, with GMs guiding without spoiling and sometimes stepping into character. The room feels high quality even without flashy tech, and the Prohibition theme lands. Many teams succeed with nudges; some experienced groups still fail on the first try.
WeaknessesThe length and volume can overwhelm newer or smaller teams, and a notorious shoes puzzle early on often stalls progress. Not ideal as a first-ever escape room.
StrengthsImmersive Prohibition vibe, loads of reveals, and clever, fair puzzle design. Engaged, in-character hosting elevates the whole run.
SecurityNo safety issues mentioned in the reviews, and the GM is attentive and monitoring throughout. Beyond that, there’s no specific data on procedures.
Level of fearNot scary—more tense crime caper than horror. Good for teens and up; younger players should pair with adults.
Actors' gameReviews praise the GM for being proactive and sometimes becoming part of the story, which feels fresh. Guidance is well-judged and doesn’t spoil the fun.
Quality of riddlesPlenty of varied, logical puzzles with tactile elements and many reveals; less high-tech but thoughtfully crafted. Expect an early choke point where a hint can save time.
PlotYou infiltrate the Outfit to collect evidence and bring the mob down without blowing your cover. The narrative threads cleanly through the spaces without heavy spoilers.
Difficulty levelChallenging mainly due to length and density rather than obscure logic. Best for groups with some experience; first-timers should be ready to ask for hints.

Good fun overall. We lingered too long in the first room and spent the rest catching up, but there are loads of reveals and turns. If you stall, ask for a hint; the hosts gave just enough info so we could solve it ourselves, and while it’s not very high-tech, the room feels top quality.

Fantastic game with a standout GM. They didn’t just drop clues; they became part of the experience, and what seemed like heavy hinting at first was really smart in-character guidance.

Proper Prohibition vibe and slick hosting by Vee kept the pace up. Not super high-tech, but the puzzle design is classy and the story beats keep you moving. Loved it.

Instantly felt like 1926 Chicago, from the props to the patter. Our GM slid into character and nudged us just enough without giving it away. Came as five adults and left buzzing; there’s a ton to uncover and it all clicks.

One of the best yet also one of the hardest I’ve done. It’s a long game, and we failed our first attempt after losing 20 minutes on the infamous shoes in room one—apparently that snags a lot of teams.

The only room out of roughly 50 that beat us, but we still enjoyed it. There’s a lot to do, and I wouldn’t pick it as a first escape—try Mutiny next door as a warm-up.

Big, meaty room with lots of locks, notes and aha moments. We got snagged on a shoes thing early on and burned time until we asked for a nudge, then the game opened up and the reveals landed.

This one is long and busy, so maybe don’t make it your first rodeo. Once we found our rhythm it was great fun and the finale felt earned.

Some clever moments, but the early bottleneck frustrated us and the clock pressure ramped up fast. Glad the host was attentive, otherwise we’d have spun our wheels even longer.

We had a blast, especially as a big group—there was plenty to keep everyone busy and it flowed well.

Great Prohibition theme done right, and Vee’s hosting was spot on.
