About the escape room

It's the year of our lord 1672, and you be right in the height o' the golden age o' piracy…

After years of sailin' the high seas, you and your crew have succeeded in your fair share of ambushes, and as a result – your ship is teamin' with bounty.

Yet you're still suffering beneath the cruel wrath o' Captain Starling - a notoriously bloodthirsty buccaneer, and your shipmates have decided you all shall take matters into your own hands. After all… you fought for the gold, so the gold is yours for the taking, aye?

Once the old seadog has retreated to his berth for the night, you make your move. Get in, get the treasure and get out. You won't have long before he starts to stir – and Starling shows no mercy to ANY soul…

AI Overview

AIReviews rave about the expansive, immersive set and a strong pirate theme from start to finish. Puzzles are logical, varied, and work well in parallel, so larger groups stay busy. Staff get repeated praise for being friendly and giving clues sparingly. Several note it’s a bit easier than the Outfitters game at the same venue.
WeaknessesWith very large groups the room can feel a bit chaotic. Smaller teams may feel the clock pressure more and benefit from splitting up smartly.
StrengthsRich, cinematic set design with multiple spaces to explore. Clear, well-signposted puzzles that reward teamwork. Hosting is attentive without over-cluing.
SecurityBriefing is clear and the team is attentive, which helps first-timers feel at ease. Spaces are roomy enough to move around without crowding too much.
Level of fearNot a scare-fest; tension comes from the timer, not horror. Suitable for families and kids who enjoy adventure.
Actors' gameGame masters earn shout‑outs for warmth and restraint with hints, and Tee gets a special nod. Interaction feels supportive rather than theatrical, which keeps flow smooth.
Quality of riddlesChallenges are fair, logical, and diverse, with plenty that can be tackled in parallel to avoid bottlenecks. Little to no gotcha logic, and solutions feel earned. Variety across rooms keeps things fresh.
PlotSneak aboard, nab the treasure, and get out before Captain Starling wakes. The mission unfolds across the ship, building momentum without spoiling surprises.
Difficulty levelMid-range overall and a great pick for mixed-experience groups. Plays smoother with three to six, and often cited as easier than the venue’s Outfitters game.

Loved the multiple rooms and how the story keeps pushing you forward. Smart, readable clues and a cracking finale. Felt a touch easier than their harder game next door, which made it perfect for our mixed group.

We had a blast even though our pace was slow. Every puzzle made sense and we cracked them all in the end. Next time we’ll split up more than two at a time. The set was gorgeous and fully immersive, so we’re coming back for another go.

Gorgeous pirate sets and a great sense of momentum. Our GM balanced nudges perfectly, so every solve felt ours. Left grinning and a little sweaty from the sprint to the finish.

Really fun room, but with seven of us it got a bit tangled at times. Puzzles made sense and split nicely once we organized. Would do it again with five or six for max comfort.

One of my favorites ever. Several distinct rooms with different puzzle styles, and a GM who only nudged when needed. Strongly recommend doing this before their Outfitters game since this one’s the easier warm‑up.

Took the kids and they were obsessed from the first minute. Nothing scary, just high-seas adventure and lots to do in parallel. Big thumbs up from the whole crew.

Thought we were at the end and then the ship opened up again with more surprises. Super satisfying flow, great props, zero filler. Top tier.

We tackled it with four adults and four kids. Plenty of space for eight, though it did get a little wild at times. Lots of parallel tasks so a big group can split and conquer.

Huge, beautifully built set with clean, exciting logic. Plays best with a larger team, and the staff were all lovely. Can’t wait to try their other rooms.
