THE WITCHING HOUR

You found it. After days of searching, you are finally here – even if you’re no longer entirely sure where ‘here’ is. Your compasses stopped working some distance back, all your electrical gadgets are malfunctioning, and your phones are useless. Some watches continue to work, but most stopped at 3.33am. Refusing to admit to yourselves or each other that this is any more than a coincidence, you nervously enter a place that doesn’t exist according to maps or history. Curiosity ensures you explore, but you start to wish you hadn't as you're unable to believe what you find. The witch rumoured to live in these woods was meant to exist only in ancient folklore… wasn’t she?
