Witch Way Out?!

There’s a witchy jump scare—fair warning given—and this room is no pushover. As a practicing witch I felt confident, but the math bits and tight story logic leave little room for error. Don’t freeze up; ask for a hint when you need it.

We really enjoyed the immersive setting and the warm welcome, and the puzzle variety was strong. We didn’t get out, which is unusual for us, because there’s a lot to do across multiple spaces and we probably needed another 20 minutes. A couple of small tweaks to the flow or trigger sensitivity would help. We were told it’s their lowest escape-rate room, which tracks. Still a great time, a solid 7/

Sarah was brilliant—friendly, funny, and laser-accurate with hints when we needed them. The set keeps opening up and the puzzles click nicely into the narrative. Top-tier room at a great price.

We had a blast in a room with a distinctive theme riffing on Only Fools and Horses. You don’t need any background, but fans will spot loads of playful nods. The puzzles mix communication, observation, tactile bits, a touch of maths, and those funky glasses. A small live-actor moment added a thrilling push to the finish, and we left grinning.

Took my brother to his first escape and Witch Way Out was the perfect intro. The puzzles are well themed with secrets to uncover, and it’s more spooky than scary, though a few jumps did spike the pulse. There’s even an extra objective beyond escaping, and the set design is stellar—my favorite at DreadLock.

Brilliant caper from start to finish. Didn’t need to know the TV show, but the nods were great fun, and the set felt spot on. The brief live-actor bit got our hearts racing in a good way. We’d play again tomorrow.

A delightfully witchy room packed with spell work, potions, and riddles. You need sharp eyes and steady nerves; it’s spookier than I expected but never over the top. We had a great time and plan to try more rooms here.

Gorgeous set, proper witchy mood, and puzzles that actually feel like magic rather than math homework. A couple of jumps got us, but the team prepped us and it just amped the fun. We left buzzing and bragging about the side objective.

After Witch Way Out and Detention we had to finish the set, and this one leans hard into nostalgia with well‑linked game puzzles and a hidden Cluedo bonus. The build is plainer than the others but family‑ready, and the owners’ passion really shows. Comfortable mid‑level challenge and great value overall.

Immersion is top-notch and the team were lovely. It’s content-heavy though; we hit the last section and just ran out of minutes. Still a cracking room I’d recommend to keen escapers.
