Before we even stepped inside, we got a briefing folder in the cafe that set the scene and told us where to start. Inside, you run the station and the investigation in acts, answering questionnaires that unlock the next broadcast if you’re right. We found suspects, then built motive, means, and opportunity, with the GM personalizing how much we roleplayed. Hunting for cassette tapes, tuning radios

Ronan dropped into character during our cafe briefing and never broke it. The room feels straight out of a film noir, with lighting and music shifting as you unlock each act by submitting your answers. We sifted through evidence, tested samples, decoded messages, and even compared handwriting before a slick finale. Totally get why it’s award-nominated—an inspired blend of escape room, murder myste

I’ve done 50+ rooms and this stands apart—more courtroom drama meets detective game than classic escape room. If you live for locks, look elsewhere, but if you want a case to crack, it’s a must-do in Edinburgh. Huge props to Rowan, and a cheeky nod to Sampson Industrial Loose Nails.

Radio Nowhere floored us with how immersive it felt and how much the hosts clearly cared. The tech is clever without being showy, and staff can tweak the experience so each team gets its own version. We went in with mixed experience levels and everyone contributed meaningfully. Can’t recommend it enough for fans of story-driven rooms.

Running a live show while piecing together a whodunnit was wild in the best way. We riffed with the GM, took a few “calls,” and the radio clues actually cracked the motive for us. Rowan kept it nimble and made our choices matter. Absolute blast.

I adore this room. It’s not high-tech and you can tell the budget was tight, but the creativity shines. It’s less about escaping and more about assembling the case—perfect if you love deduction games like The Return of the Obra Dinn. One of my UK favorites.

Loved the story-first approach and all the studio toys, especially fiddling with the mixer and tapes. It’s not a lockfest, and one of our friends didn’t want to hop on the mic, but the team adapted and it still flowed really well. Super memorable.

We didn’t know what to expect but left sold on the concept. Smart puzzles, lively back-and-forth with the GM, and staff who clearly love what they do. The chat after and the bar area beforehand were lovely touches. We’ll be back for more when we return to Edinburgh.

Not your usual escape room—more like playing detective, and it’s pulled off beautifully. Our GM Tom was fantastic, and the whole thing felt focused on solving the case rather than sprinting through locks. We’re already eyeing Radio Nowhere next.

A love letter to noir. The GM stayed in character from the cafe brief to the final reveal, and the story clicks together so cleanly it’s almost cinematic. We left buzzing.
