About the escape room
Your search into your family history led you to a chilling discovery.
Your great-aunt Tabitha died under mysterious circumstances at Dr Lockwood’s asylum for the Criminally Insane — a remote hospital that was supposedly shut down decades ago. Official records vanish, witnesses contradict each other, and something about her death just doesn’t add up.
Drawn in by unanswered questions, you arrive at the site expecting crumbling, abandoned ruins. Instead, the hospital still stands — intact, silent… and watching.
The moment you step inside, the doors slam shut behind you. You quickly realise this place is very much alive, and it seems to know exactly who you are.
As you explore deeper, you uncover disturbing medical files, hidden secrets, and traces of something far darker than simple neglect. You begin to suspect that your great-aunt’s “death” was no accident.
But be careful…
People still whisper about Joyce Jones, the hospital’s most infamous patient. After a terrible tragedy, she slowly slipped into madness, and it’s said that if her name is spoken three times, whilst laying in her bed, she returns.
Anyone who looks into her eyes is doomed to share her fate.
Can you uncover the truth about your Aunt, survive the secrets of The Ward, and escape before the hospital claims you too?
Important information and features of the escape room
Children of any age can participate as part of a team with adults. Our rooms are family-friendly, and there will be elements that children can join in with. For children-only groups, a non-paying adult may be asked to supervise in the room; this is for both safety and insurance purposes. Arrive 5-10 minutes early for briefing. The room is tension-based with dark areas and moments of intensity. Younger players best accompanied by an adult. No scary elements. Contact for accessibility questions.
