AI Overview

AIReviews rave about the set build and immersion, calling it a standout and even worth traveling for. Gameplay skews non-linear and collectathon-style with environmental cues guiding progress instead of traditional locks. Multiple endings and a scoring system make it replayable and friendly to first-timers. Hosts get repeated praise for clear briefings and adding to the story.
WeaknessesSearch can be intense, and two-player teams may feel stretched when hunting coins and collectibles. The moody lighting and hint-light approach may surprise traditionalists, though progression is built in and you still escape. Completionists might feel FOMO if they miss hidden areas on the first run.
StrengthsBeautiful, film-quality sets and props create a tense, believable world. The story flows through the gameplay, with smart puzzle variety, trading elements, and multiple outcomes that reward curiosity. It feels fresh compared to typical escape rooms and keeps teams busy the full 90 minutes.
SecurityPlayers mention concise briefings and attentive hosting that keep things clear and comfortable. The space feels thoughtfully run, with staff ready to guide if needed.
Level of fearIt’s eerie and tense rather than brutal, with a dark, haunted-house vibe and a few unsettling moments. Suitable for newcomers and likely fine for teens or brave kids; sensitive players should expect low light and sustained suspense.
Actors' gameGame masters like Megan, Imy, and Oli are called out as welcoming, enthusiastic, and great at setting the scene. Briefings are clear, guidance is light-touch, and in-world interactions enhance immersion without breaking the narrative.
Quality of riddlesPuzzles lean environmental, logical, and fair, mixing classic thinking with physical and interactive tasks. The non-linear structure lets groups split up and stay busy, and the collect-and-trade mechanics feel fresh. Difficulty sits at that sweet spot where it’s challenging but rarely obtuse.
PlotYou’re investigators in Arkham tracking stolen relics in a shunned house, unraveling a cult’s trail as doom ticks closer. Your thoroughness and choices influence your score and which ending you see.
Difficulty levelModerate to challenging with lots of content and searching, especially for smaller teams. The score-based, you-always-escape finish softens the edge for beginners while giving veterans plenty to optimize.

We loved the different approach. It’s more of a collectathon guided by the environment and the story, which kept the three of us immersed the whole way. The set feels authentic and the props are superb. Shout-out to Megan for being such a passionate, welcoming host.

We tackled this as a pair and wished we’d brought the kids to help with the coin hunting. The puzzles shine, but the real magic is the mood and craftsmanship. There aren’t hints in the usual sense, yet the design still moves you forward. New favorite room.

My first escape room and I ended up replaying it because we missed some coins and items the first time. The team was lovely, the story hooked me, the puzzles were tricky but fair, and the dark house vibe felt real.

Utterly absorbing from the first step inside. The set looks incredible, the story keeps pulling you forward, and the multiple endings make it feel like a proper adventure, not just a timer race.

Truly immersive for Cornwall, and it works even if you’re new to the genre. The build quality and props are excellent, the logic tracks, and there are a few neat twists along the way. Highly recommend.

This doesn’t feel like a typical escape room at all. The second you step in, the story takes over, with meticulous detail in every space. Creative puzzles elevate the atmosphere, and since you always escape, it’s great for beginners too. Worth a special trip.

Played as a two and we felt the search load, especially on the coin hunt, and the lighting’s purposefully dark. Still, the design is superb and we left grinning.

Our host nailed the briefing and the room itself is next-level. Loved the environmental clues and the way the story drives everything. Already planning a replay for a different ending.

First escape room ever and I’m hooked. You don’t “fail” here, you finish with a score, which took the pressure off and let us enjoy the ride. Great atmosphere without being too scary.

Easily one of the best we’ve played in the UK. The decor is gorgeous, the narrative lands perfectly, and the immersion is total.
