AI Overview

AIPlayers love the unique premise of shrinking down and exploring Carroll’s brain, with early puzzles tied neatly to senses. Hosting gets consistent praise, and the room looks colorful and well built. Difficulty skews higher mostly due to the sheer amount to do, not unfair logic. Even when it’s not someone’s all-time favorite, they’re glad they played.
WeaknessesThe load is heavy, so some teams may feel time pressure from volume rather than puzzle toughness. The latter part can feel more traditional compared to the standout intro. A few folks liked other rooms more overall, despite enjoying this one.
StrengthsInventive concept that starts strong and flows into a vibrant Alice vibe. Puzzles feel logical with good signposting and thoughtful theming. Hosting is consistently excellent.
SecurityNo safety issues mentioned; the build is described as sturdy and well made. Briefings and guidance from the team come across as confident and helpful.
Level of fearNot scary; it leans whimsical and colorful over creepy. Feels family-friendly for teams looking to avoid horror elements.
Actors' gameNo live actor interaction noted, but hosts are frequently praised for being clear, kind, and engaged. Support feels present without being intrusive.
Quality of riddlesClever, fair, and on-theme, especially the opening sense-based tasks. Signposting is solid, and the puzzle logic generally clicks. Expect variety and a lot to tackle rather than brutal leaps.
PlotYou’re miniaturized and sent into Lewis Carroll’s mind to get the gears turning and recover the ideas behind Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. It’s playful, linear enough to follow, and doesn’t rely on spoilers to land the story.
Difficulty levelOn the harder side due to quantity and pace, not unfair logic. Enthusiasts will thrive; newer groups may feel the clock more sharply.

Great game with a quirky story. You start in a shrinking machine, then head into the author’s brain with clever sense-themed puzzles, before it flips into a wacky Wonderland set. Super fun overall and the hosts were brilliant.

This is tied for my second favorite at XscapeNow. The theming is great, and while it’s labeled very hard, it felt tough because there’s just a lot to get through rather than brutal puzzle logic. We escaped, loved how well the puzzles fit the theme, and the whimsy had us grinning.

That shrinking intro is a blast and the sense-based puzzles landed perfectly for us. Later it turns into full-on Wonderland chaos in a good way. Hosts were lovely and nudged us just enough. We left smiling and a bit out of breath.

Loved the brainy opening and wanted a bit more of that later on, as the back half felt more classic escape-roomy. Still, the flow is good and the staff were excellent. Solid pick for teams who like busy rooms.

Really tidy logic with clear signposting, so even the trickier steps felt fair. The room is poppy and well finished, and the whimsy never gets in the way of solving. One of our better recent plays.

We escaped with seconds left and it was mainly the sheer amount to do that kept us scrambling. Nothing felt cheap or random, just a lot of content. Great fun, slightly intense pace.
