AI Overview

AIReviews agree this is a puzzle‑heavy, tech‑driven room with around 74 challenges split across eight strands, most of them optional. There’s a steep learning curve, then the flow clicks and the hour flies by. Teams praise the satisfying touch‑screen interface, the ability to keep playing after opening the door, and the end‑game stats. Hosts get strong shout‑outs, while some note light storytelling and warn that newbies and completionists may find it overwhelming.
WeaknessesCan overwhelm first‑timers and frustrate completionists who want to clear every task. Story is minimal compared to the puzzle focus, and the opening ramp‑up can feel steep. You’ll likely leave with puzzles left unsolved, which some find deflating.
StrengthsSheer volume and variety of clean, fair puzzles with lots of parallel play and satisfying feedback. Slick sci‑fi set with smart reuse of materials and excellent touch‑screen interfaces, plus achievements and post‑game stats. Welcoming, enthusiastic hosting rounds it out.
SecurityIt’s a screen‑based, low‑physical experience with a standard briefing and attentive staff. No rough tasks or jump scares reported, just focused puzzling.
Level of fearNot a horror room; it’s sci‑fi and intensity comes from the timer and the AI, not scares. Suitable for teens and adults who like thinking under pressure.
Actors' gameHosts like Ash, James, and Charlie get praised for warmth, patience, and clear briefings, plus thoughtful post‑game walkthroughs. Interaction is primarily with the AI via touch screens rather than live acting.
Quality of riddlesDozens of logical, well‑signposted challenges span eight strands, mixing teamwork tasks with solo bites. Everything routes through touch screens with a crisp green flash and ding on success; no physical padlocks. Parallelization and resource management are key, and the puzzle design feels fair even when tough.
PlotLight narrative about proving yourself to The Locktopus while chasing points. Open the door to ‘escape,’ then stick around to rack up optional achievements if time remains.
Difficulty levelHard with a sharp onboarding curve; best for enthusiasts or confident teams. Newer players can still have fun but may feel swamped without strong communication.

Ingenious, tech‑first, and all about puzzles and points. You square up to an AI on a huge touch‑table, hit initiate, and dive into eight tentacle‑like puzzle streams. There are roughly seventy‑plus challenges with no expectation you’ll finish them all; a subset opens the door early, and you can keep playing to fill the hour. The start is steep, but once it clicks it’s a blast, with resource manage

A wonderful, puzzle‑lover’s playground—and seriously tough. We oscillated between frenzied solving and quiet staring, because everything in the room begs to be tackled. The main console and answer pads are irresistibly slick. Ash welcomed us with patience, humor, and real enthusiasm, even late at night when we were flagging. Accept that you won’t see, let alone finish, most puzzles, and enjoy a br

One of the most fun rooms I’ve hit in ages—about five times the puzzle count of a normal game, most of it optional. We pushed close to the high score and still skipped at least twenty. High‑adrenaline and massively parallel. Just know you might walk out slightly miffed about the ones you didn’t reach.

Absolutely adored it. If you love puzzling, this is the sweet spot—score‑driven with just a hint of story. There is a primary goal, but we happily got sidetracked and still polished off 25 of the seventy‑four or so puzzles, nowhere near everything and totally fine with that. I left wanting another run. James was a fantastic GM and even walked us through some of the ones we missed afterward.

No padlocks, no fluff, just puzzle after puzzle. James was a star and walked us through missed strands after. Hard, fair, and wildly replayable.

Set design screams classic sci‑fi without being spooky. Cool to hear they reuse materials, and it still looks premium. Clean logic, zero filler, all signal. Hosts were ace.

A refreshing break from the usual escape formula. You’re on from minute one and don’t stop until time is called. We cleared the main thread and racked up 34 extra puzzles on top—nonstop engagement.

A roaring hour of brain candy. The central touch‑table, the eight strands, the little green dings—so satisfying. We escaped early and kept grinding for points, then ogled our stats at the end. Properly addictive.

A different spin on the format with more puzzles than you can possibly finish, all delivered via slick tech with fun little bonuses tucked away. It’s a dream for puzzle nuts and guarantees a frantic, full hour, but it may overwhelm newcomers and irk completionists.

Brilliant concept but not gentle. The first 10–15 minutes felt like drinking from a fire hose, then it clicked and we flew. If you’re brand new, bring a patient crew and talk constantly.

Loved the high‑tech vibe and the AI sass, but completionists beware—you won’t clear it all. We left buzzing and a tiny bit salty about the puzzles we didn’t reach. Still, huge fun.
