About the escape room
Welcome to Isla Revelles – a previously uncharted island which even the locals won’t go near, rich with clean energy resources ready for distribution. Ferrox Industries recently sent a specialist mining team to the island to start testing and transporting these resources, but after building the mining base, the entire team mysteriously disappeared. As part of Ferrox Industries investigation crew, you have been tasked by CEO Luke Ferrox himself to go to Isla Revelles, re-establish communications to the island and find out what happened to the mining team. But be warned, a storm front is closing in on Isla Revelles, and in 60 minutes you will be trapped on the island – along with whatever else might be there too…

Brief assessment
Navigator AI
Go for the lush Jurassic sets, the storm-on-the-horizon tension, and a couple of neat vertical moments that make it feel cinematic. It’s an easy, immersive romp that shines for small, newer teams who value vibe over brutal logic walls.

AI Overview

AIPlayers consistently praise the atmosphere and visuals, but note inconsistent maintenance and tech hiccups that can break flow. Game mastering swings from friendly and in-character to overbearing with nonstop hints. Difficulty trends on the lighter side, and several mention it suits 2–3 players or beginners best.
WeaknessesTechnical issues and worn props show up in multiple reports, including broken computers and reset mistakes that mis-sequence the game. A few teams saw late starts and intrusive hinting over radio, which undercut the experience.
StrengthsThe set looks great and sells the island adventure fantasy from the first beat. Some puzzles land well and the finale has a satisfying logic core when it clicks. Hosts sometimes lean into character and even theme the safety brief, which helps immersion.
SecurityBriefings are themed to the room and comms run via walkie-talkie. Minor snafus happened, like a door left open and quickly fixed, but no major safety concerns raised.
Level of fearMore tense than terrifying—think dino danger vibes without hardcore horror. Family-friendly for most ages, though very young kids might find the ambience a bit intense.
Actors' gameHost quality varies a lot. Some GMs are welcoming and in character; others gave weak intros or pushed constant guidance over the radio.
Quality of riddlesA mixed bag: generally approachable with a couple of cool ideas, but flow can suffer if the room isn’t reset cleanly. The final puzzle has a nice logical spine, though one element leans on memory. A few interactions feel like once-techy mechanisms now simplified or retrofitted.
PlotYou’re sent by Ferrox Industries to Isla Revelles to restore comms and uncover why a mining crew vanished. The storm clock keeps pressure on without spoiling the adventure tone.
Difficulty levelLeans easy-to-moderate, ideal for 2–3 beginners or casual players. Experienced groups will likely cruise and enjoy the scenery more than the challenge.

We arrived early and found no staff around, started late, and the sign-in iPad barely worked. Inside, our GM flooded us with instructions over the radio for the first half hour, even after we’d said we were experienced, which ruined the discovery. We eventually ignored the prompts, then got a bizarre discount-code readout in the debrief; hard to judge the room when we weren’t allowed to solve it o

I really enjoyed it and my first-timer friend was buzzing, plus the little vertical sections were fun. Themed safety brief was a nice touch, and the GM stayed in character and cheered our progress. The finale had good logic but one step leaned on memory; we didn’t use the walkie. A door was left open and quickly fixed, and a couple of parts felt like once-techy puzzles now simplified. Brilliant set and soundtrack—felt like stepping onto a Jurassic film set. Our GM stayed in character and kept the pace snappy without spoon-feeding. Not mega hard, but we had a blast as a duo and finished with time to spare.

The room looks stunning and had real potential, but both computers failed at different times so the GM had to come in and fix things. A bad reset mixed items up, sending us to puzzles before we had the right pieces. I left disappointed because it could’ve been great.

Gorgeous room, but two tech glitches derailed the flow and the reset seemed out of order. The GM had to step in and fix things, which killed the momentum. Could be amazing after proper maintenance.

Loved the themed safety video and a couple of small climbing moments. Final puzzle was clever but relies on remembering something you saw earlier. We didn’t need the walkie in the end; nice intro room for friends.

Theme is cool and the storm countdown adds spice, but our radio wouldn’t shut up with hints. We still enjoyed the island vibes, just wished for less hand-holding. Would revisit after a refurb and a lighter touch on clues.

Thalia hosted us and was warm, welcoming, and on it. The set and atmosphere were excellent, though the puzzle flow felt patchy in places. Despite that, we had a great time overall.

Atmosphere lands, puzzles are clear enough, and the story gives you a reason to move. Some props looked tired, yet it didn’t stop us escaping with ten minutes left. Good for newer teams.

An okay game with a few cool puzzles, but the set feels worn and needs some TLC. You can tell it’s in a busy chain venue, so everything’s a bit scuffed. Still, it played fine and wasn’t tough for an experienced group.
