About the escape room

The Famous Chocolate Factory hid 5 Golden Tickets inside chocolate bars around the globe, if you found a ticket you'd be allowed to enter the factory and see the magic at work.

Sadly... You were not one of the lucky five.

Fortunately, the mysterious owner of a rival chocolate company managed to acquire one, but it would be too suspicious if he went inside. Therefore he has offered to give the ticket over to you... only if you agree to steal the secrets held within...

AI Overview

AIPlayers rave about the immersive set from floor to ceiling and a smooth puzzle flow with playful, hands-on tasks. Difficulty lands in the sweet spot for mixed groups, with timely nudges when needed and standout hosts in many runs. A few teams hit tech hiccups late game and noted one weak GM, but most experiences were glowing. The ball pit and bonus chocolate search are recurring highlights.
WeaknessesSome reported temperamental tech and stray items in the final room, which undercut a couple of puzzles. GM quality can vary, with one run feeling flat due to poor hosting.
StrengthsVibrant theming, tactile creativity, and constant moments of delight keep energy high. Hosts often nail the tone and hint timing, and the room rewards curiosity with hidden chocolate everywhere.
SecurityNo safety issues called out; staff supervise and offer nudges when needed. It’s a physical room with a ball pit and plenty of movement, so dress comfortably and expect to be active.
Level of fearZero scare factor and big kid energy throughout, so it’s friendly for families and younger players. Expect giggles, not jumps.
Actors' gameGame masters get lots of love for great vibes and perfectly timed clues, with Billy and Cerys called out by name. One review flags a lackluster GM, so interaction quality isn’t perfectly consistent.
Quality of riddlesTactile, creative, and mostly very logical, with a good mix of physical and cerebral moments. Difficulty feels fair rather than brutal, and the flow clicks. A rare math combo and some magnet triggers misfired for one team due to extra pieces and tech quirks.
PlotYou’re handed a rival’s Golden Ticket and asked to sneak into the famed factory to swipe its secrets. It’s a whimsical tour with a mischievous twist, no spoilers needed.
Difficulty levelSolid mid-tier challenge that suits families, first-timers, and enthusiasts alike. Expect to use teamwork and get a couple of gentle hints rather than grind on brutal logic leaps.

Booked as a bonus game and it totally stole the trip. Super tactile, creative puzzles with smooth flow, constant surprises, and a hilarious chocolate hunt—we snagged 910g between two of us. Billy was a star with spot-on hints and a lovely chat after. If you’re in Nottingham, don’t miss it.

Fully themed top to bottom and genuinely fun, with mostly logical puzzles and some really fresh ideas. We did run into late-game tech snags—one puzzle had already triggered, magnets acted up, and extra pieces skewed a math combo—but we still had a blast and will be back for more rooms.

Loved the tactile puzzles and smooth flow, plus it’s not scary at all. One magnetic lock was fussy but the host helped quickly. Still an easy four stars and I’d replay it.

Bursting with color, clever tasks, and a chocolate hunt that had us grinning start to finish. My kids were obsessed with the ball pit and we adults had just as much fun. Easy recommend.

Plenty of crawling, reaching, and hands-on solves, which I adore. A couple of stray items threw us for a minute, but the theming is so good you forgive it fast.

The set is excellent, but our experience was dulled by a weak games master. With stronger hosting it would have landed much better.

Whimsical, bright, and satisfyingly tactile. Best family-friendly room we’ve done in Nottingham; it just nails the kid-again feeling.

Our GM kept the vibes spot on and nudges landed exactly when needed. We left laughing, pockets full of bonus chocolate, and already planning our next visit.

Pure joy. It blends the best interactive elements with that wide-eyed candy-forest wonder, and even turned our grumpy crew into giddy kids again. Perfect for families.

We were the first public team through and it shot straight to the top of our list. If you enjoy physical rooms, add this immediately.

Great for families with plenty to do and momentum all the way through. We never felt stuck for long and came out buzzing.

An absolute must-do. It’s hard to talk about without spoiling the fun, so I’ll just say: go play it.
