AI Overview

AIPlayers consistently praise the immersive Oz/Wicked aesthetic, multi-room flow, and playful use of music and lighting. Hosts like Anais/Anaïs and Mia get called out for being warm, attentive, and adding to the fun. Difficulty trends accessible, yet the variety keeps even experienced teams engaged. Hype is high and, per reviews, the game lives up to it.
WeaknessesReviews rarely flag issues; if anything, the challenge leans more welcoming than punishing. A few people feared from promo material it might skew kiddie, but they left pleasantly surprised. Hardcore seekers of ultra-brutal puzzles might want more bite.
StrengthsStandout production values and themed decor make the world feel real from start to finish. Puzzles are varied, fair, and sprinkled with clever, theatrical touches. The overall vibe is pure fun, with engaging transitions and a steady rhythm.
SecurityNo specific safety concerns are mentioned; teams say they were well looked after. Briefings and guidance feel attentive and reassuring.
Level of fearNot scary and very family-friendly; the tone is whimsical, not horror. Kids can play without issues, and adults won’t feel talked down to.
Actors' gameGame masters get strong praise by name and keep teams supported without overstepping. Interaction feels friendly and responsive rather than intrusive.
Quality of riddlesVaried, fair, and clearly signposted with moments tied to music and lighting. Nothing is overcomplicated, but the breadth keeps you busy. Enthusiasts still find joy in the creativity and momentum.
PlotYou’re breaking into the Emerald City to recover the Ruby Slippers and get back home before the wizard catches on. It’s a playful heist-through-Oz that moves briskly without heavy exposition.
Difficulty levelAccessible for newcomers and mixed groups, with enough variety to keep veterans entertained. Puzzle-hunters after extreme difficulty may find it on the lighter side.

This game throws everything at you in the best way. We even found ourselves singing along. The promos made it look kid‑centric, but we had a blast as adults, and kids would be fine too. Nothing needlessly complex, just tons of fun puzzles and a lovely host with stories about the previous game.

Honestly jaw‑dropping. Possibly the best I’ve played, with stellar sets, smart puzzles, and superb GMs. Break Escape Loughborough continues to impress.

I worried it wouldn’t match the hype, but it absolutely does. Gorgeous theming, clever and inventive touches that make you forget the outside world, and top‑tier GMing from Anaïs. Quirky, confident, and spot on.

Really fun run with slick tech and friendly hosting from Mia. Puzzles are smart but mostly approachable, and a couple sequences felt a touch linear for my taste. Still a top pick.

Loved the immersion and the GM support. I’d have enjoyed one tougher multi-step puzzle, but the creativity more than made up for it. Would happily replay with friends.

Our group has done a lot of rooms and this one still surprised us with variety and polish. The flow sings, literally at times, and the finale pops. Worth the trip.

The set is a knockout and the Oz vibe is everywhere you look. We grinned our way through clever tasks and a few cheeky musical cues. Left humming and high‑fiving.

Took the family and it landed perfectly. Zero scares, loads of color, and some moments that had the kids dancing while we solved. Big recommend.

Another absolute winner from Break Escape. We were buzzing to try it and it still exceeded expectations. This company hasn’t missed for us and now sits at the top of our list. Can’t wait for whatever Mia and team build next.
