AI Overview

AIPlayers rave about the theming, with standout set design and a second act that really pops. Flow is generally smooth and story-led, though a few mention one obtuse step and a finicky physical element. Minor wear on props occasionally dings immersion but doesn’t stop progress. GMs come across as upbeat and engaged, keeping the energy high.
WeaknessesA couple of props show wear, which can break the illusion a bit. One physical puzzle is called out as awkward, and there’s mention of an overly obtuse step for some teams. Difficulty can spike unexpectedly in places.
StrengthsRich, faithful Oz atmosphere with thoughtful details and clever nods to the books and film. Puzzles link neatly to the narrative and offer a satisfying variety. Works well for families and small teams who enjoy story-driven rooms.
SecurityNo safety concerns reported; standard briefings and attentive monitoring. Some cosmetic wear is noted, but staff are on top of it.
Level of fearNot scary at all; it’s whimsical and colorful. Kids and first-timers should feel comfortable throughout.
Actors' gameGuests highlight a cheerful, in-theme GM who keeps things fun and offers timely nudges. No scare actors or heavy roleplay, just supportive hosting.
Quality of riddlesMix of logic, observation, and tactile tasks that mostly feel fair, with smart ties to Oz lore. A few moments can stump even seasoned players, but breakthroughs are satisfying. One physical puzzle seems poorly designed compared to the rest.
PlotYou step in for the vacationing Wizard, follow the yellow brick road, and get the Emerald City back on track. Fix the hot air balloon before time runs out, meeting familiar friends along the way.
Difficulty levelHarder than it looks, landing around medium to medium-hard. Families can do well with hints, while experienced small groups may speed-run it or enjoy pushing for records.

The Oz theming is lush and joyful, and the second half genuinely wowed us. Puzzles felt tied to the story, which kept us moving without random busywork. A couple steps were trickier than they first looked, but cracking them was extra sweet.

I’ve run this room twice, and when family flew in from Australia, they were blown away. Gorgeous theming, smooth pacing, and a nice puzzle mix. I’d happily point families here—kids will eat it up.

Every inch felt carefully crafted to honor the story, with subtle nods that actually guide the solving. Set work is among the most attentive I’ve seen, and the puzzles balance fun with variety. Of five rooms I did in a day, this was the standout—go play it.

As an Oz nerd, I adored the little references sprinkled through the set. Went in as a duo and blasted through the early bits, then had to slow down for a clever twist. Great energy from the GM too.

As a lifelong Oz fan, I loved the tiny references tucked around the room. It worked well solo, though an experienced small team would likely tear through it even faster.

I’d place it somewhere between a yes and a no. The room looks great—especially the latter section—but an opaque puzzle, a couple of worn pieces that hurt immersion, and a clumsy physical task held it back. Still had a good time overall.

Our GM was bubbly and in-theme, which matched the room’s vibe perfectly. The game moved cleanly from one challenge to the next without dead spots.

Lovely room with tons of heart. We did notice a slightly janky prop that pulled us out of the moment, yet the overall flow and hosting made up for it. Would happily recommend to fans of the film.

Took our tween and grandparents, and everyone had something to do. It’s not a baby room; a couple puzzles asked us to really think. Still, we finished with smiles and a fun finale.

Sweet, feel-good room with several memorable beats. Don’t be fooled by the bright theme—some steps stalled us for a bit, but we rallied and escaped just under the half-hour mark.

A playful Oz tribute that blends the movie and the books, making a room that’s sneakier than it first appears. Some moments are pure delight and will definitely make you grin.

Charming build and music, but one physical task didn’t land for me and felt clunky. Nothing broke the game, just the vibe for a minute. Overall good, not perfect.
