AI Overview

AIPlayers consistently praise the balance of scares and puzzles, with several calling out smart use of props and memorable reveals. First-timers had a blast, though a few teams needed hints along the way. One comment notes the theming feels familiar, but the puzzle design lifts the experience. The opening sequence stands out as a highlight.
WeaknessesA couple of groups needed multiple clues, suggesting occasional sticking points. One player felt the overall theme is pretty standard for the genre.
StrengthsCreepy set pieces and reveals land well, and the puzzles feel inventive without being obtuse. Flow is engaging and keeps teams moving with a satisfying mix of tension and payoff.
SecurityNo specific safety notes in the reviews, and nothing concerning was reported. Standard briefing and oversight are not discussed in detail.
Level of fearExpect a jumpy, atmospheric scare level rather than extreme horror. Likely too intense for very young or easily spooked players, though one review mentions bringing a grandchild, so older kids who enjoy spooky themes may cope fine.
Actors' gameReviews don’t mention live actors or in-room interaction. No data on actor-led moments.
Quality of riddlesClever, fair puzzles make smart use of props and environment, with an interesting early gateway challenge. Variety is solid and solutions feel logical, though some teams will want a nudge or two. Reveals tie puzzles neatly to the theme.
PlotYou’re the next targets of a doll-obsessed killer and must work together to escape his collection before time runs out. The story unfolds with creepy twists without overcomplicating the goal: get out.
Difficulty levelMid-range difficulty that suits mixed groups and engaged beginners, especially with clues available. Enthusiasts will enjoy the pacing, while first-timers may stall briefly on a couple of steps.

I’ve done a lot of Panic Room games and ran this one twice because it flows so well. Nice balance of scares and thinking, and the progression puzzle early on is neat. Bringing my teen nephew next time.

Properly creepy fun. The props are used so smartly that every reveal feels earned, and the pace never drags. We escaped with seconds left and huge grins.

My first horror room and I was jumpy the whole time, but in a good way. Needed a couple of hints, yet the logic tracked and the set looked great.

Another strong outing from The Panic Room. I’ve completed it twice and plan to bring my grandson next because the scares and puzzles are balanced just right. The opener is great and the step to progress is intriguing.

Theme is your classic locked-in nightmare, but the puzzles are sharper than average and the opening sequence is a banger. Memorable, tense, and satisfying.

Creepy dolls, tight time pressure, and some slick reveals. We stumbled mid-room and asked for a clue, then the rest clicked nicely.
