AI Overview

AIPlayers consistently praise the sheer volume and variety of non-linear puzzles and the multi-room layout. Props and set dressing land strongly, with several people calling out memorable, even cheeky, surgery-themed details and solid electronics. Difficulty skews high, especially for two players, though the venue offers the option to remove a puzzle for duos. Staff support is repeatedly highlighted as excellent, with one mention of a puzzle malfunction that staff handled apologetically.
WeaknessesCan feel tight for two within 60 minutes, and the non-linear structure may overwhelm newcomers. One report of a faulty puzzle affected an escape. The room shows its age a bit for some.
StrengthsClever, plentiful puzzles with an inventive start and strong immersion. Standout props and decor, plus friendly game masters who guide smoothly. Multi-room progression keeps energy up.
SecurityPremise includes starting restraints, and players highlight clear briefings and supportive staff. No jump scares reported; gore is prop-based and controlled.
Level of fearTense surgery theme with light gore, but reviews note it isn’t actually very scary and there are no jump scares. Likely fine for teens and squeamish players who can handle a medical setting.
Actors' gameNo live actors mentioned; interaction is through an attentive GM via hints. Hosts like Roux and Fraser get shout-outs for being helpful and upbeat.
Quality of riddlesLots of varied, clever challenges with a non-linear flow and some neat electronic moments. Generally fair but on the tougher side, rewarding methodical teamwork. One isolated tech issue was reported.
PlotYou wake in a makeshift surgery after a night drinking with a doctor and need to outwit the room before things get worse. The story unfolds across multiple spaces without heavy exposition or spoilers.
Difficulty levelBest for groups of 3–4 or experienced pairs; new players may want to use the optional puzzle removal for duos. Expect to think hard and divide tasks due to the non-linear design.

You can tell it’s one of the older games, but it still delivers. Slight bit of gore if that’s not your thing. We played as a duo, kept the extra team puzzle, and still escaped comfortably. Locked In Glasgow remains top-tier, and Fraser gave superb service.

One of the best rooms I’ve done: a fresh start, then a ton of puzzles to chew through. With just two of us it was tight for time; they do offer removing a section for duos, which I’d suggest if you’re newer. We skipped it and still had a great time.

I expected it to be way scarier, but it wasn’t, and there were no jump scares. The props are outstanding and the puzzles are clever; despite being non-linear, the flow made sense. The real maggots gag, the specimen box, and the twitchy, mumbling body all cracked me up. Loved it.

Loads of puzzles to tackle. We hit an issue with one that stopped us progressing, which wasn’t caught during the game. Staff apologized, and we still had fun; planning to return and clear it. Feels more suited to larger or experienced teams.

Theme is spot on, puzzles are clever, and our GM kept hints crisp. It’s not linear, so be ready to split up. Solid challenge that never felt unfair.

Played back in 2018 and it was multi-room, which made it feel bigger and fresher. Excellent decor, interesting challenges, and fantastic electronics. The team was friendly and walked us through what we missed after time, which not everyone does.

Loved the opening and the sheer number of things to solve. As a duo we felt the time crunch, but the flow was satisfying and the props were brilliant rather than gross-out. Would happily replay with friends.

Cool multi-room journey with memorable props, though one puzzle felt fussy. Staff handled it well and debriefed us after. Would recommend to experienced teams.

I really enjoyed this one—definitely among the better rooms I’ve tried. It’s challenging in a good way, so be ready to think hard. Moving into another room made it even more engaging.

Easily one of my top rooms so far, featuring one of the best props I’ve ever seen. Great overall experience, though a few puzzles are tough, so come prepared.

We loved it. Roux ran our game and was excellent. As a team of two we were offered the chance to drop a puzzle but decided to play it all and were glad we did.

Went in expecting horror and got brains instead of screams, which I preferred. There’s a bit of gore humor, but nothing nasty. We escaped with seconds left and were buzzing.

Played as two and chose not to remove the extra puzzle—probably should have, because we ran out of time on the last step. Still had a blast and the set pieces are wild.

Really fun space with nice decor and a non-linear path, so we had to split up. Our GM was lovely and kept us on track when needed.
