Overview of artificial intelligence

AIPlayers consistently praise the set design and atmosphere, often calling it one of the best-themed rooms they’ve tried. Difficulty sits in the sweet spot: challenging but manageable with a few hints. Host quality varies a lot—some are superb and supportive, others feel disengaged, overly chatty, or even condescending. Maintenance is uneven, with reports of broken or missing pieces and an ending that can feel abrupt.
WeaknessesMultiple guests ran into broken props or missing parts that forced extra hints. Hosting swings from brilliant to inattentive, with chatty tannoy guidance breaking immersion. The finale can feel flat, with unclear closure.
StrengthsThe period ambiance lands beautifully, with satisfying surprises and well-paced challenges. Several GMs earn shout-outs for timely, light-touch help. It works well for mixed groups and families.
SecurityStandard briefing and monitoring keep things controlled, though a couple of guests felt the intro was disengaged and service patchy. No safety issues were raised in the reviews.
Level of fearNot designed to scare; tension comes from the sinking-ship setting, not jump scares. Suitable for older kids and teens alongside adults.
Actors' gameHosts range from excellent, in-character guidance to distracted or overly directive commentary that undercuts immersion. Your GM’s style heavily shapes the experience.
Quality of riddlesVaried and generally fair, with hints available when needed. When everything is working, the flow clicks; mis-set or broken elements can stall progress. Expect teamwork, observation, and logic more than hardcore searching.
PlotYou’re first-class passengers racing to escape after the iceberg strike, solving your way through shipboard obstacles. The narrative is light and the ending can feel sudden.
Difficulty levelModerate overall; enthusiasts finish with a nudge or two, while newcomers should manage with guidance. A balanced choice for families and mixed-experience teams.

The theming landed and several puzzles were fun, but some props were broken and one puzzle had pieces missing—apparently swept up by a cleaner. Our GM felt off, slow on clues, and sometimes jumped in over the tannoy with direct instructions, which hurt the immersion. The ending fizzled out and we didn’t realise we’d finished until the GM walked in. Still enjoyable overall, just needs tweaks.

We’ve done quite a few rooms, and this Titanic set is up there with the best. Four of us (two adults, two teens) finished in just under 40 minutes with a couple of hints, and Willow balanced giving us space with stepping in perfectly. Loads of little surprises; we’ll be back for the other room.

Brilliant time in the Titanic room in Crewe. Leon was a top game master—just enough nudges—and we escaped with six minutes left. Eyeing up Escape from Alcatraz next.

Cracking puzzles with a nice variety, and the theming sells the story. Timely hints meant we slipped out with a few minutes to spare. Would recommend to any group of four.

Loved the décor and the flow, but one prop was temperamental and the end just… stopped, no big finale. Still, we enjoyed the hour.

Good game with a decent challenge and obvious room to shine. A few components weren’t working, which dragged the experience down more than it should have.

Alex played our captain and absolutely nailed it. The game pushed us without feeling unfair, and we still made it out. Cheers!
