About the escape room
Still the same submarine, but the English have taken over The Crown Jewels are finally back in British hands… but not for long. After recovering them from the German submarine UI-55, your crew has begun the journey home. But German forces have discovered your escape and are closing in fast. Your submarine has suffered heavy damage, leaving only a handful of reserve compressed air cylinders. Search the vessel and recover as many as you can. Every cylinder will keep UI-55 on the surface for longer, giving your crew precious extra time to defend the Crown Jewels.

Brief assessment
Navigator AI
Climb aboard a colossal U-boat set and race to snag as much loot as you can while cracking a ton of clever puzzles. It’s fast, open, and wildly replayable—great for big groups and still doable (if intense) for sharp duos.

AI Overview

AIPlayers agree this is a massive, multi-room, collection-style game with everything open from the start and 52 bags to chase. The constant flow and freedom to split up shine, and hosts—often Alex—get praise for spot-on support. It scales from 2 up to large teams, though small groups can feel overwhelmed. A few mention light storytelling and an occasional tech hiccup.
WeaknessesStory and briefing can feel thin and don’t really develop as you go. The all-open layout can be chaotic for couples, and there’s the odd frustrating moment or temperamental electronic prop. With less gating, exploration feels less structured.
StrengthsHuge, convincing U-boat build with a broad mix of puzzle types so everyone finds something they like. Nonlinear design keeps you busy for the whole hour and makes it great value and replayable. Friendly GMs and a neat finish amplify the fun.
SecurityClear briefings and attentive GMing reported, with no safety concerns despite the big set. Movement is active but manageable if you follow the intro.
Level of fearNot a horror experience—no scare elements reported, just high-energy heist pressure. Family-friendly for puzzle fans who want excitement without frights.
Actors' gameHosts, especially Alex, come across as welcoming, enthusiastic, and sharp with well-timed nudges. Several players enjoyed post-game chats and recommendations for other rooms.
Quality of riddlesA rich mix of searching, logic, dexterity, and tech, all thematically tied to the sub. Generally fair with multiple parallel paths, so you can park a puzzle and jump to another. One or two notes of a glitchy electronic element, but overall quality is praised.
PlotYou’re sneaking onto a German U-boat to grab as much loot as possible before the soldiers return. The story frames the action but doesn’t progress much during play.
Difficulty levelContent-heavy and time-pressured, ideal for larger teams and experienced players. Strong duos can finish or even clear it, but newcomers in small groups may feel early overwhelm.

It’s an enormous room bursting with puzzles, and the collect-the-loot premise is really well thought out. If something grates, move on and grab another win. Signing the wall at the end was a sweet touch.

We went in as four and still didn’t touch everything. Constant motion, great clue timing from Alex, and a finale that left us grinning. Best value hour we’ve had in ages.

Crystal Maze vibes on a submarine, and it actually works. Twelve could split and stay busy, but even with three we never ran out of jobs. Zero horror, just pure puzzle fun.

Brilliant collector challenge with 52 money bags to chase, so no one sits idle whatever your team size. The scale, smart design and puzzle variety kept us engaged the whole time. Staff were super friendly too.

Tackled this as two and it was tough but genuinely fun. The puzzles are clever, on-theme, and there’s loads of them, all accessible from the off. Our GM was lovely and even pointed us to other good rooms nearby.

The hype is legit. Massive set, a mix of high-tech and classic puzzles, and the freedom to split up and rack up the bags. We even hit all 52 as a team of two.

Loved that you can just tackle good puzzle after good puzzle without bottlenecks, then wrap with a unique, fun ending. The access-from-start setup really works here.

Nonlinear and huge, with around 30 codes to uncover and stacks of cash to stash. A couple of moments frustrated us, but the creativity and volume of content can easily keep up to six busy.

Played as a duo and the sheer amount to do hit us like a wave. Puzzles were fair and well themed, but the story felt light and we missed a sense of progression. Still, we left buzzing and would happily return to tackle the rest.

Not your typical escape, more of a collection marathon. We played as two and prefer collaborating closely, but there was simply so much to do that it felt better suited to a bigger team, even though we still enjoyed it.

Love the collection mechanic—pick a puzzle, bank some loot, repeat. Chaotic in the best way with smart tech sprinkled throughout. I’d recommend it to any group size.

Knowing Alex built the whole thing made it even cooler. A steady stream of satisfying rewards and a wide mix of tasks meant we were always occupied, and we’d happily come back for the puzzles we missed. Great post-game chat too.

Walked in as a pair and felt overwhelmed at first, yet still ‘completed’ it. Wish the story intro had been clearer, and one electronic puzzle misfired, but the GM explained after and was polite and helpful.

Epic set and tons of variety, though one electronic prop was temperamental and slowed us down. The GM handled it well and kept the flow going. Overall a cracking, high-energy hour.

Everything’s open from second one, which makes for a wild, delightful kind of chaos. We had a brilliant time hopping between rooms and tasks.
