AI Overview

AIPlayers consistently praise the immersive Nautilus setting, detailed build, and varied puzzle mix. Hosting is called out as warm and supportive, with one host named specifically. A few groups mention minor tech or reset hiccups and a clue system that can let you linger too long on a single task. Difficulty trends fair for newcomers, though pairs may feel the pinch early on.
WeaknessesThe clue system can slow the pace if you tunnel on one puzzle. Occasional reset or button issues were reported, and the room can be tough for two players. One player noted a small bump from misplacing a prop.
StrengthsStrong theming and soundtrack create a convincing undersea atmosphere. Puzzles are interactive, diverse, and mostly well signposted. Staff are friendly and encouraging.
SecurityNo major safety concerns reported; one minor knock happened when a prop was inserted incorrectly by players. The space feels surprisingly roomy for a submarine theme.
Level of fearNot a scare room; it reads as adventurous rather than creepy. Suitable for families and first-timers.
Actors' gameNo actor-led gameplay, but hosts are attentive and upbeat, with personal shout-outs. Interaction comes mainly through hints and guidance rather than in-character performance.
Quality of riddlesA balanced blend of technical mechanisms, tactile tasks, and classic logic, including a jigsaw. Generally fair, but overthinking the opener or fixating on one step can cost time. Minor glitches were noted in isolated cases.
PlotYou’re stowaways on Captain Nemo’s Nautilus, scrambling through compartments to restart the engines before the air runs out. The narrative unfolds room by room without heavy exposition.
Difficulty levelModerate overall and friendly to newcomers, though momentum can dip early if you overthink. Duos may find it tougher than larger groups.

A spacious, well-themed nautical room with a mix of technical and non-technical puzzles. We hit a reset issue on a padlock that let us bypass a puzzle and found some faulty buttons, but most things worked fine. We overthought the first task and took the wrong approach on a jigsaw, yet still escaped on time. Maddie was a fantastic host and even told us about their 80s room, a Hansel and Gretel room

Gorgeous set, moody soundtrack, and puzzles that actually feel like you’re fixing a submarine. Hints were on-point without spoiling the fun. Perfect intro to escape rooms for our group.

Impressive detail and a wide variety of puzzles, plus a very friendly team. My only gripe is the clue system, which made it easy to lose time sticking with one puzzle too long. Still very much worth a visit.

Took the family and it was adventurous, not scary. Lots to press, turn, and piece together, and the kids were buzzing when we escaped with seconds left. Host was a star.

We went as a pair and hit a wall on one early puzzle, and the hint system let us stew a bit too long. That said, the mechanisms are neat and the finale feels earned once the engines hum back to life.

Loved the theme but we ran into a sticky button and possibly a reset that let us skip a step. Staff were lovely and sorted it fast, yet the immersion dipped for a minute. Still a decent run overall.

Surprisingly spacious with a tidy mix of logic and hands-on tasks. We wasted time overthinking a jigsaw, so keep it simple. Worth the ticket price and then some.

Great game with brilliant theming and a standout soundtrack. Tough for two, but that’s common, and the clue system is clever. I did give myself a small bump when a piece we mis-inserted fell, which was on me. Still a strong experience overall.
