AI Overview

AIGuests consistently rave about the decor and historical detailing, plus how friendly and attentive the hosts are. Puzzles feel varied with good flow and some neat mechanical moments, though difficulty swings by team. Several players say the narrative fades during play and the objective can be easy to forget. Overall sentiment is strongly positive and recommends not overthinking.
WeaknessesStory presence is light, and some teams forgot what they were chasing by the end. A minority found the decor less inspiring than expected. Difficulty can feel uneven across groups.
StrengthsSumptuous, historically flavoured set design with clear care and craft. Welcoming, proactive hosting and a clue system people actually like using. Varied, cooperative puzzles that generally flow well and reward communication.
SecurityBriefings and oversight come across as clear and supportive, and no safety issues are raised in reviews. The vibe is calm and welcoming rather than intense.
Level of fearNot scary at all and suitable for families and cautious players. No jump scares or horror elements mentioned.
Actors' gamePlayers praise the hosts for being friendly, attentive, and helpful without being pushy. No live actors in-room are mentioned; interaction is mainly via a polished clue system.
Quality of riddlesA broad mix of logic, observation, and some dexterity with a few clever gadgets. Generally fair and well signposted once you connect the dots, and it pays not to overthink. Teamwork and communication matter.
PlotVictorian palace intrigue frames the mission, but the narrative sits in the background while you solve. The theme is fun, even if the objective can blur mid-game for some teams.
Difficulty levelVaries by group: some cruised out with time to spare, others needed a steady stream of hints. Best pitched at mixed-experience teams; enthusiasts may find it comfortable, while newcomers might want to lean on clues.

Gorgeous room with a proper Victorian glow-up and hosts who nail the balance between friendly and hands-off. We loved the mix of logic and tactile puzzles, and the clue system felt like a gentle nudge, not a lecture. Left smiling and arguing about our favorite bit all the way home.

Super welcoming team and a room that nails the Victorian manor vibe. We did find it tough, but their excellent clue system made asking for help feel natural, which is rare for us. Highly recommended—and try not to overthink it.

Looked small at first, then it just kept giving. We were a trio and finished with time to spare, but it never felt empty—just tight and well-paced. Host was brilliant and kept the energy up.

Solid night out. Not the most groundbreaking puzzles I’ve ever seen, yet they’re clean, fair, and nicely varied. If you like communicating under pressure, this one sings; if you’re hunting deep story beats, maybe less so.

Of the five rooms at this venue, this was our least favourite, yet still worth playing. The story fades into the background and we honestly forgot our goal by the end, though the puzzle mix and teamwork elements are good. The decor and furniture are fine but didn’t wow us.

Really fun experience for our team of three, and we escaped quickly, making it the easiest of the Pier Pressure games for us. It looks small at first, but there’s loads to do and the set is nicely done. As ever, the host was fantastic.

Smart room with a couple of mechanical surprises and satisfying teamwork moments. The story didn’t stick for me, but the set is lush and the flow was smooth once we stopped overthinking everything.

Absolutely loved this room—beautifully and historically on point. You can tell they care about both the builds and the player experience. Great puzzles that really deliver; don’t skip it.

One word for the set: opulent. Between the constant wow moments and the need for sharp communication, it kept us engaged from start to finish. The theme, flow, and story were a blast, and now we can’t wait to try Loot the Lanes.

Beautiful set, kind staff, and a fun rhythm, but I lost track of the plot halfway through and didn’t quite care by the end. Still worth doing for the craftsmanship alone.

Not wildly different or groundbreaking, but a solidly enjoyable room. The puzzles are satisfying and the flow is smooth, with a couple of clever contraptions to spice things up.

Brilliantly hosted and the attention to detail in recreating the pavilion rooms is remarkable. A great room all round.
