AI Overview

AIPlayers love the outdoor setting and the novelty of moving from an indoor start to an open-air space. Puzzles blend code-breaking with creative physical tasks and are generally logical, with hosts getting high praise. A few teams mention moments of weak flow and, in one case, a malfunction that cut content. Weather matters, though the area is fairly sheltered and manageable with the right clothing.
WeaknessesSome teams hit patches where the next step isn’t obvious. One reported a malfunction reducing playtime, and weather can influence comfort despite some shelter.
StrengthsDistinctive outdoor vibe with thematic, mixed-style puzzles that feel fair. Hosting is friendly and attentive, and the experience stays coherent to the story. The novelty factor is high and memorable.
SecurityIt’s outdoors yet decently sheltered; dress for the weather, especially outside summer. Briefings and staff oversight help keep things smooth and safe.
Level of fearNot scary and suitable for kids; even younger players had fun and contributed. Expect adventure vibes over horror.
Actors' gameNo live-actor interaction is highlighted, but hosts get consistent praise for guidance and well-timed nudges. Interaction feels supportive rather than intrusive.
Quality of riddlesA varied spread with plenty of decoding, plus tactile and physical elements that stay on-theme. Logic is solid and solvable without leaps, though a couple of puzzles can misdirect until you reset and rethink. Good for teams who enjoy ciphers and practical problem-solving.
PlotYou infiltrate a poachers’ compound tied to Sir Henry’s journey and try to foil their plans before they get back. The mission gives clear stakes without heavy storytelling baggage.
Difficulty levelMedium overall. Families can finish with a hint or two, while code-lovers will feel at home; newcomers may find a couple of steps non-obvious.

Such a fun ride. We enjoyed the first indoor section, and being released outside was a blast, with clever physical challenges balanced by brainy bits. We chased a couple of wrong ideas, stepped away, then came back and cracked them, and nothing felt illogical; there were even two moments we didn’t want to end. Superb experience and a lovely venue.

Loved the mix of open-air exploring and tidy ciphers. We hit a couple of roadblocks, took a breather, then everything clicked and we sprinted to the finish. Host was spot on and never heavy-handed.

You don’t see many outdoor rooms, and this one will shine in good weather. We enjoyed how being outside made it feel different, with varied, on-theme puzzles and excellent hosting. It’s not a standard room, so come with that in mind and you’ll have a good time.

Creative physical bits blended with solid logic, nothing felt random or unfair. We loved the theme and escaped with minutes to spare. Would happily recommend to mixed-experience groups.

The outdoor game never really flowed for us, and we spent too long figuring out what to do next. A malfunction meant we missed a chunk of content, which was disappointing. Staff were great, but this one wasn’t for me.

Theme is great and staff were kind, but our run had a prop issue and the flow suffered. We still enjoyed parts, just didn’t feel like the full experience.

We liked the room and its novelty, with a couple of puzzles that stood out as genuinely different. The host was excellent, though without those highlights I’m not sure I’d rate it quite as high.

Gorgeous day and a fun switch from an indoor start to the yard. A few moments were a bit vague for us, but one nudge set us straight. Bring a jacket if it’s chilly and you’ll have a blast.

Did this with our 5- and 8-year-olds and had a great time. Lots of decoding with some fresh-feeling puzzles, and once you grasp the system the solves are satisfying. We escaped and the kids loved it.

Family-friendly adventure with satisfying decoding and a cool reveal when you’re let outside. Not scary at all, just lively, thoughtful fun. We’d do another room here in a heartbeat.

Very cool to be outside for a change. It’s sheltered well enough, but if you go outside summer, dress warm and you’ll be fine.
