AI Overview

AIPlayers love the coin-collecting side quest and say there’s a ton to do, often using the full hour. Puzzles are inventive, well-themed, and fairly clued, with friendly, attentive hosting. The narrative sits in the background but the main objective stays crystal clear. Works well for both first-timers and enthusiasts and scales nicely to different group sizes.
WeaknessesStory feels secondary to the gameplay. The search for tokens can get frantic if you’re trying to max the score, especially for smaller teams. Those craving a deep, linear narrative may find it more challenge-driven.
StrengthsClever, varied, and tactile puzzles that feel tightly on-theme. The token hunt adds an extra layer of fun and keeps momentum high. Hosting gets consistent praise, including helpful debriefs.
SecurityReviews note clear briefings and attentive support from the host, with no safety issues reported. The venue feels polished and well maintained.
Level of fearNot a horror experience and no scares are mentioned. Suitable for families and newcomers who want challenge without fear.
Actors' gameNo in-room actors are cited; interaction comes from the mechanisms and environment. Multiple reviews highlight friendly hosts and a great post-game walkthrough.
Quality of riddlesGuests call out smart, diverse challenges with some they’d never seen before. Difficulty varies but stays fair, and everything ties neatly into water, fire, and earth. Good mix of logic, interaction, and light searching.
PlotLord Barrington challenges you to command the elements, free the Minotaur, and escape. The objective is clear, while the story mainly frames the action rather than driving it.
Difficulty levelMedium with lots to do; two can succeed on the main path, while three to five helps if you want to chase every coin. New players feel welcome, and enthusiasts get plenty to chew on.

Absolutely loved the variety, including mechanisms I’d never seen before, plus tactile, interactive moments. Collecting tokens alongside the main goal was great, and the design and theming are top-notch. The host was lovely and even walked us through the missed tokens and solutions afterward.

One of my favorites. I love the play-the-full-hour vibe where you get as much as you can, and being observant really pays off. We played as two but with three or four we’d probably have nailed nearly all the coins. Great whether it’s your first or hundredth room.

Played as a pair and still used the full hour without feeling stuck. Hints were fair, the flow made sense, and the token side quest kept us moving. Would happily recommend.

Puzzles were clever and varied, but the story felt light and we spent a lot of time searching for tokens. Still, the room looks great and the mechanisms are satisfying.

We had a blast and finished the main objective with time left to scoop up coins. The coin hunt is a brilliant side quest with loads to do, the set is lovely, and while the story isn’t front and center, the goal is clear. My partner has around 20 rooms under his belt and called this one a favorite.

Brilliant room and my favorite among collection-style games so far. The puzzles are super creative, and some of the hiding spots genuinely amazed us. Really unique theme and a must-do if you’re nearby.

There’s loads here for enthusiasts. We used our whole hour trying to max the collectibles and still didn’t see it all, and several puzzles felt fresh to us. Rock-solid room.

The mini-puzzle format with the gold and silver disks is a clever twist that makes you manage your time. There’s so much in the room that it suits both small teams and bigger groups pushing hard for disks. A lot of fun.

Loved the elemental theme and the coin chase twist. We hit the main goal with minutes to spare and then scrambled for more tokens while the host cheered us on in the debrief. Super tactile, super fun.

Busy room with solid craftsmanship, but the token grind wasn’t my thing after a while. I wanted a stronger narrative thread. Good puzzles though.

Fantastic time. I love games with side objectives and we ended on 36, just one gold and two silvers short. It kept us busy to the final seconds, and I’d recommend it to both newcomers and veterans.
