AI Overview

AIGuests consistently praise the friendly GM team and charming toy-themed setting that taps into nostalgia. Puzzles are varied, clearly signposted, and capped with a hands-on finale that leans on dexterity. Difficulty can be adjusted, so beginners thrive on medium while enthusiasts prefer the hard add-ons. A few note it feels more classic than groundbreaking.
WeaknessesMedium mode may be a breeze for seasoned players, so pick hard if you want a test. The dexterity-heavy ending isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. One or two visitors found it more standard than standout.
StrengthsHosting is welcoming and clueing is spot-on, keeping teams moving without frustration. The theme feels cohesive and fun, and the flow is smooth from start to finish. Works beautifully for mixed groups and kids without talking down to adults.
SecurityClear briefings and calm, helpful hosting make the room feel safe for all ages. Facilities are solid and staff keep an eye on teams without hovering.
Level of fearNot scary in the slightest, more cozy nostalgia than tension. Kids handle it well and have plenty to do.
Actors' gamePlayers highlight upbeat, attentive GMs who step in with timely, minimal hints. No intrusive live acting, just supportive interaction that keeps the vibe fun.
Quality of riddlesA clean mix of logic, observation, and tactile elements with fair, readable signposting. The finale introduces patience and hand–eye coordination without feeling cheap. Overall difficulty feels honest and satisfying.
PlotYou revisit an old playroom to figure out which toy is missing and outwit the captor before you’re left behind. Story beats stitch the spaces together without getting in the way of the puzzles.
Difficulty levelIdeal for beginners and families on medium, while the hard path adds extra layers for veterans. Enthusiasts may find medium quick, so opt into the tougher variant.

First ever escape room for us and it was brilliant. The team were friendly and gave just enough guidance so we never felt stuck, and the puzzles were varied and engaging. Facilities were good, a nice cafe next door, and Beverley’s easy to reach with parking and a short walk from the station—perfect for a day out.

The BB team make you feel welcome without any awkwardness, and the room’s unique theming shines. We cleared medium quickly, then got to try the extra hard clues, which added a nice bump in challenge.

We cruised through medium, so I’d recommend the hard add-ons if you’ve played a few rooms. Nice flow and cute set pieces though, especially in the last act.

I liked the room but didn’t love it; it felt more classic than special to me. The theme was fun and a couple of dexterity-based puzzles really stood out. Overall a solid play.

Fun room with a sweet vibe, but the dexterity finish wasn’t for me. Solid experience overall, just not jaw-dropping. Still glad I went.
