AI Overview

AIPlayers praise the variety, originality, and smooth flow, often calling the finale an adrenaline rush. The 90–100 minute versions are widely favored, and Hard mode adds clever layers without feeling cheap. Hosting—especially from Fran—consistently boosts the experience. Minor hiccups include occasional stalls on obvious finds and some tense, time-pressured choices.
WeaknessesA few groups got stuck on simple searches or missed obvious items. Time pressure can spike, especially on shorter runs or for beginners. Hard mode may overwhelm newer players.
StrengthsFresh, well-themed puzzles span multiple styles and spaces, keeping everyone busy. The pace ramps up to a satisfying final push. Warm, attentive hosting ties it all together.
SecurityBriefings and support feel clear, and nothing suggests unsafe elements beyond low lighting and urgency. Intense but controlled, with guidance when needed.
Level of fearNot horror—more stealthy tension than scares. Fine for families and older kids; the dim lighting sets mood without being frightening.
Actors' gameReviews rave about the game mastering, with Fran repeatedly praised for being welcoming and on-point. No live actors are mentioned; interaction is mainly through briefings and timely hints.
Quality of riddlesVaried and original, with little math or red herrings, some light physical tasks, and clear logic. The multi-area layout and final dash land well, and Hard mode layers in extra challenge for enthusiasts. Flow feels fair and readable.
PlotYou infiltrate a jewel thief’s hideout to gather evidence, recover the jewels, and uncover their identity before they return. The no-warrant setup adds stakes and urgency without spoiling surprises.
Difficulty levelStandard mode suits mixed groups; the 90–100 minute option and Hard mode cater to experienced teams. Newer players will likely enjoy the longer runtime more than the added difficulty.

We tested this when it was still called 118 and it was awesome even then. So much to tackle, with unique puzzles, barely any red herrings or heavy math, and a really clever multi-area layout. It’s a monster—in the best way.

We adored this 90-minute room—our favorite at the venue—and it left us happily wiped out. Plenty of well-themed, varied puzzles and a bit of movement made it stand out, and the hosting was the best we’ve had. An underrated gem we strongly recommend.

We took the 100-minute version and it flew. So many different puzzle types that actually play well together, and teamwork really matters. Easily one of the best heist-style rooms we’ve done.

Hard mode was a blast—clever extra layers and that final sprint had our hearts going. Fran made us feel welcome and nudged us just right when we stalled. Great theme, great flow, zero filler.

Loved the multi-room scale and the tension, but we did lose time on one obvious search in a dim corner. Hints were well-timed and the ending rocked, just a bit spiky for newer friends.

Such a fun twist on the cops-and-evidence trope. We chose Hard and the extra challenges were genuinely clever, with a frantic final room that had us racing the clock—and laughing at our own rookie misses. Fran was fantastic before and after the game and made us feel really welcome.

Great concept and hosting. The time pressure hits hard in spots, so if you’re new, go standard or grab the longer slot. Still had a fantastic time.

Great flow with a little bit of everything puzzle-wise. We did the longer version, which basically means more to enjoy, and the final section was a highlight.
