Overview of artificial intelligence

AIPlayers consistently praise the game masters for sharp improv and timely nudges, and the room feels well built and maintained. The experience leans puzzle-first with plenty of locks and mechanical bits, landing around medium–hard. Several reviewers say Judgement D.A.V.E. covers similar ground and edges this one out, while the Initiative still delivers a fun, brainy run. Narrative momentum dips mid-game and picks up at the end.
WeaknessesCompared side-by-side, some guests prefer Judgement D.A.V.E. and see overlap in theme. The story can feel light until the final beat. If you dislike padlocks, the quantity here might grate a little.
StrengthsEngaging hosts elevate the experience and keep the energy high. Puzzles are varied, logical, and often fresh, with good opportunities to split up and regroup. Build quality is solid and everything generally works as intended.
SecurityBriefings are clear, staff attentive, and the set feels sturdy. Multiple guests note everything worked cleanly with no mishaps.
Level of fearNot a scare-fest; tension comes from the clock, not jump scares. Suitable for teens and families who enjoy thinking over frights.
Actors' gameHosts get rave reviews for wit, character work, and smooth clueing when needed. Interactions feel playful and tailored to the team.
Quality of riddlesA mix of mechanical tasks, padlocks, riddles, and logic steps keeps things moving, with a few novel ideas. Puzzle logic is fair and mostly independent, so teams can fan out. Solves feel earned and satisfying.
PlotYou’re recruits taking the Bewilder Box assessment while chasing the mystery of Dr Wilder Sr.’s 1989 disappearance. The narrative bookends the experience, with most of the middle focused on pure puzzling.
Difficulty levelLands around medium–hard; beginners may want a hint or two, while enthusiasts will enjoy the crunch. Expect a brisk 60-minute pace with tight finishes common.

Everything worked smoothly, the quality was high, and the whole team was friendly and generous with tips on other

If you’re here for puzzles, you’ll be happy. The story sparks at the start and then mostly steps aside until the end ties it up, but the stand-alone puzzles are great fun. Our GM’s acting and cheeky musical riffing were top tier.

Great set, no broken props, and our GM’s improv had us grinning. We escaped with seconds to spare and felt properly accomplished.

Loved the variety, but I did feel the sea of padlocks now and then. Still, the logic was tight and the last reveal landed nicely.

Excellent room with a couple of puzzles we’d never seen. Very mechanical with lots of locks, and we squeaked out with about five minutes left.

We’ve now tackled both rooms and had a blast with each. Massive thumbs up, and Dr Montgomery was a fantastic host from start to finish.
