I arrived skeptical since I hadn’t heard of this place, but the game blew me away. The flow is spot on, the pacing keeps you moving, and the room looks stunning with cohesive theming. Puzzles are logical with no leaps, and even with many locks you always know where each code belongs. It’s clear immense effort went into every detail, and I’ll be recommending this venue often.

Brought two teens and everyone had something to work on without stepping on each other. The pineapple-collecting angle keeps the pace lively and the locks actually make sense. We left buzzing and already planning another visit.

Visiting Chapelgate is always a treat, and chatting with Elaine and Mike before and after is half the fun. Everything is executed to a top standard, with inventive, memorable puzzles we kept talking about later. We’ve nearly finished the set, which is bittersweet, but I’d happily start over. This is a UK standout—book it and you won’t regret it.

Our second time at Escape Quest was just as joyful as the first. Every puzzle felt fun, some we tackled solo and some we teamed up on, and we walked out proud with 11 pineapples while already itching to return. We’ve booked the next game and are eyeing the Christmas room. A warm, family-friendly day out that’s all about satisfying puzzles.

I can’t praise Escape Quest highly enough—just book it. There’s nonstop content so everyone stays engaged until the clock hits zero. The set is gorgeous and keeps surprising you, with a wide range of puzzles that suit all ability levels.

Brilliant example of puzzle-first design with a playful story. It keeps things mostly low tech and padlock-led, the signposting is crystal clear, and we never had to guess what connected to what. The street reveal is fantastic and each shop is crammed with smart tasks. Hosting was spot on and this might be our new favorite. Already eyeing a return when the rotation changes.

Finally ticked off the Curiosity Shop and it lived up to the hype. Our team of five spread out across a non-linear web of puzzles and never felt idle. The theming is exceptional and, since they run one game at a time, we’re now keenly waiting for the next rotation.

From the welcome to the final seconds, the hosts made us feel like VIPs. The room looks fantastic, the story lands, and there’s zero dead time. If you like parallel play, this is your playground.

Percy’s Predicament was delightful from the first welcome. The owners clearly care about your experience, and the design scales so the main goal can fill your time or be wrapped up faster depending on skill. That opening reveal is worth the trip alone. I’m usually a tech-first player, but the craft here and the clean logic had me grinning the whole way. Top-notch hosting and a set that feels lived-in rather than dress-up. Easily a new UK favorite.
