Company Deadlocked Escape Rooms

I was nervous about my first actor-led horror, especially playing at night before Halloween with a new team, but wow. It perfectly blends theatre, escape room, and horror without skimping on puzzles. The acting, atmosphere, and extended runtime drew us deeper into the story, and the time flew. I can see why people tout its top awards.

Near perfection. Theatre, horror, and puzzle design come together with stunning sets and a great soundtrack to deliver a unique, two-hour experience. We went from awe to shock to pure terror, in the best way. Huge thanks to James and Charlie for hosting.

One of the best rooms of our UK trip. The three of us had a blast interacting with the actors, and while it’s scary, it never tipped into too creepy. Our 14-year-old made it through, and the flow and escalating tension were spot on.

Not usually into actor rooms, but the performances were great and the team adjusted the intensity when we asked. Still screamed a couple times, and the puzzle flow was satisfying.

Extremely scary and yes, you will be chased. The fear doesn’t undercut the puzzle quality, though—there’s plenty that’s creative and challenging. Even the pre-room intro is part of the immersion.

Movie vibes from start to finish. The actors were brilliant, the puzzles never felt random, and the hinting was spot-on. Scary, yes, but smart too.

Immersion is brilliant, with strong sets and committed actors. The game masters tune the experience to the team, and it’s a must if you can handle some horror.

From the moment we arrived, we were in it. The sets are excellent, the puzzle variety fits the theme perfectly, and it was very scary in the best way. Our gamemasters, Kai and Jack, nailed the hinting.

Fantastic set design and plenty of interesting puzzles. The actors made it fully immersive and, honestly, pretty scary.
