Company Clockwork Escapes

I love a room that keeps you busy the whole hour. This one would really benefit from a third teammate, and while the dusty, dim set might not suit everyone, it isn’t scary. Plenty of satisfying aha moments and a fully in-character GM.

We’ve done 40+ rooms and this felt fresh. Great flow, playful mechanics, and a GM who knew exactly when to step in. The final weigh-in had us cheering like fools. Immediate recommend.

Brilliant room that pushed us right to the final minutes, and we loved every bit. A varied puzzle mix with some fresh ideas, bonus challenges beyond just escaping, and a host who was genuinely funny made the whole thing sing.

Loved the heist angle and the bag-weighing at the end—such a rush. The set looks and feels like a real mine, and the puzzles click when they land. Our GM-as-Professor was hilarious and kept the pressure fun, not stressful. We left sweaty and grinning.

Top-notch immersion from the first line in character. Smart mix of tasks, some I’d never seen before, and that loot-collecting twist is addictive. We didn’t hit the leaderboard but felt proud of our haul.

From the moment we stepped in, everyone stayed in character and it never broke. Foole’s Gold leans into collecting and it’s fun throughout, with an authentic set and tricky-but-fair puzzles. We needed a few nudges, got a decent haul, and still happily recommend the venue and this game.

Took our teen and had a blast. Not scary at all—more gritty and adventurous—with a few lifts and shoves that made us feel part of the mine. I’d have liked a touch more light in one area, but the scoreboard gimmick totally won us over.

Another strong game. It starts off very dark by design, which slowed us a touch, but the build and features are impressive. We played as two, barely made it, and skipped a section—likely smoother with a third.

Played as a pair and we scraped out with seconds left. The start is pretty dark, which slowed us, but the aha moments were worth it. Would bring a third next time to tackle the physical bits faster. Still a great ride overall.

The set is unusual and the mechanics are just plain fun, with surprises and puzzle types I hadn’t seen before. We had a blast.
