We loved every minute. As a duo, the puzzle count felt spot on, with just enough aha moments to make us feel clever without getting bogged down. The theming holds well, and I’d happily bring kids to this. Matthew and his NASA pal Steve were delightful and nudged us perfectly when we got tunnel vision. We’ll happily revisit after a reset period.

Super enjoyable, non-linear game. Because of earlier damage we got an altered ending, still fun if a bit anticlimactic. We played as two and barely squeaked through in the last five minutes. Lots of puzzles packed into a small footprint, and choosing when to spend fuel cells for lights added nice tension.

Loved the non‑linear design and the GM’s in‑character hints; it kept the magic vibe without slowing us down. Clever props, clean signposting, and no horror—just satisfying solves. We walked out smiling.

Really enjoyed it—one room that fits a lot in, with a GM who stayed in character and gave gentle nudges. Non‑linear flow meant we could split tasks, and the Merlin vs. Morgana twin‑room race setup sounds perfect for bigger, competitive groups.

We loved Operation Odyssey before, and Spellbound was fun but definitely easier. Great for smaller groups, with flowing puzzles and a playful, immersive hint system; the story sits in the background and the variety is good. Very beginner‑friendly, and our GM John was welcoming and always checked before giving clues.

Loved the classic feel of this room. Oliver was a gem, hints were timely, and the puzzles clicked one after another. Not flashy, just clean, satisfying problem-solving in the center of York. We left with a cute photo key-ring and big grins.

Loved the space vibe and the whole power management idea with the fuel cells. Our GM kept it playful and stepped in only when we were well and truly stuck. We finished with seconds to spare and were buzzing after.

Nice spot right in the heart of York. The upkeep and some clue logic feel dated, but the host was very friendly. It’s an easy run for experienced players; a team of two even set a 42-minute monthly record. Still a fun little room overall.

Single‑room and non‑linear with okay story, good theming under dim lights, and solid puzzles without a showstopper moment. We used a couple of hints and liked the prop use, though I preferred their Operation Odyssey.

Took the family and it was spot on for us. Mix of padlocks and a couple of neat magnety reveals kept the kids engaged without scaring them. Staff were kind and the ending photo keyring made their day.
