We’ve been to Game Over Derby three times now and finished Jack the Ripper, Saw, and Espionage. The rooms look brilliant, with wicked lighting, effects, and props, and they ramp up in difficulty, so start with Jack if you’re new. Kirsty is super welcoming, explains everything clearly, and dishes out hints with hilarious energy. We’ll be back soon!

First escape room for our family and it clicked. Clear logic, a couple of head-scratchers, and we never felt lost for long. Spooky story, not nightmare fuel. Booked our next one already!

Good puzzles and a clean flow, but there aren’t many objects, so you can hit a lull between finds. Definitely works better with three or four people than a big crowd. Still had a blast.

Not a standard escape room but a string of mini-games that test different skills, with a final head-to-head to pick the winner. Theming felt a bit light, the venue was warm, and with one host we waited briefly, but overall it was different and definitely fun.

Loved the vibe straight away—foggy London mood, ticking clock, and that last-minute adrenaline dump when the door popped. Host was lovely and got us in the zone. Not gory, just tense and clever. We’d do another room here in a heartbeat.

Proper spy vibes from the moment the door shut. Kirsty set the tone, kept us laughing, and dropped just-right nudges when we stalled. We made it out with seconds to spare and felt like agents for a night.

First ever escape room for our group and we loved it. Kirsty was brilliant and stepped in with hints when we stalled. Great mix of puzzles—some tough, maybe that was just us—and we’re already planning to try the other rooms. Thanks for a cracking night.

Great mission arc and plenty to do for a team of four. We liked the variety, and the hints were fast when we asked. A couple of moments were a bit opaque, but it was tense in a good way.

More hands-on games than locks, and it played best for us as a team of two. You get the full hour with some time deductions, though the long briefing explained a lot upfront and cut into the surprise. Still very enjoyable.

First escape as a couple and we had a blast. Staff were lovely, the challenges made us think without killing the mood, and the atmosphere is deliciously grim. Big recommend.
